So we've been throwing ideas around.... and thought we'd throw it open to our fellow Tanglerites.

Any ideas as to what we could put on a Tangler t-shirt?

Or is there something else you'd prefer? Golf balls with Tangler logos anyone? Tangler pinatas? (always good to have something to hit handy )

I think the logo is cool enough by iteself.

I think that any kind of witty buy line would just cheapen the whole thing. There are enough 'witty' t-shirts around the place.....
Like my collegue who wears the t-shirt to work that reads "Your sister is hot, but your Mum does that thing with her tongue"

Maybe the logo on the front, looking very neat and crisp and organised, but then on the back the logo gone loco - like the lattice thingy has grown insanely in every direction like snakeweed, all over the back of the shirt

it would also be cool if that insane snake-weed tangle somehow subtly had "Tangler" written into it, but that sounds hard 

how about a fractal in the tangler colours.... or a mandlebrot set....

fractal pattern could be cool, that would look pretty damn good if it was done right

or maybe like the patterns of tiny lines on a circuit board, somehow crossed with a fractal-like pattern so the size of the lines varies, but also altered to include the lines crossing

For a serious moment now, I think clean and simple is what you should go with... the Tangler logo c/w name in your font just below it on the left side upper chest.... small, distinctive and elegant.. works for both T-shirt and for golf shirt (trade shows; conference; and filming corporate video of Eye of the Tiger)

So there is a way to make one-off shirts that anyone can put thier own words on -a bit like Tangler allows people to communicate their thoughts...

The grey is cooler -perhaps any color is possible, but much more complicated to produce

This sort of thing is possible at http://www.graphita.com (shameless plug) The brandmark would need to be added to the library to make it possible. We'll have a brand section in a few weeks. We would need a vector file for the artwork, after that anyone who wants a shirt can just order it.

I like it. They did that sort of thing with the web 2.0 shirts but they just left the space so you could write it in yourself.
