I did qualify my question by saying I was being serious. I am. I sometimes call people I know a monkey when they've done something funny etc. Just like I call em a clown, or a psycho. What is it about calling someone a monkey that is racist?
Calling a black man a monkey or making monkey "sounds", especially at sporting events, is most definitely racist.
