Actually, I remember reading before all the shenanigans started that the Adelaide pitch favoured India? (Don't know how or why)

The Adelaide pitch usually favours spin, and I believe that India has one or two of those.

Yes, well Gillie himself said that he knew that it was time, and that he was beginning to take shortcuts with training etc.  It's always best to leave while you're still performing well and not wait until you're thrown out,like some other people do. (I'm not just only talking sport here).

Gillie will always be remembered as a great sportsman, and that is his well deserved reward.

It's a shame that the test just fizzled out to a tame draw, I thought that India may have declared with about 10 overs left, and breathed a bit of life back into the game, but that wasn't to be.
