Just realised last night that they'll be showing it here on FTA tv!!!XP

    2008-04-16 00:09:54.0

Of course, it starts at bedtime, but 20/20 is short enough to fit on one tape

    heheheeh

    2008-04-16 00:10:24.0

I sooooo can't wait for this!

    2008-04-16 00:10:32.0

Yeah, I saw (or rather heard) an ad on Ch 10 about it last night, but It was finished before I realised what they were saying, so I didn't catch what time it will be televised. (I was in another room at the time).

    2008-04-16 19:48:07.0

Something like 12.45am, if I'm visualising correctly...

No idea when (which date) it starts though

    2008-04-16 20:52:58.0

Woha, I have just discovered that the first IPL Twenty 20 game is on tomorrow night (Fri 18th March) on Ch 10, starting at 11.40 pm--2.40 am. (that's AEST)

The game is.. Bangalore Royal Challengers V Kolkata Knight Riders.

I have no idea at the moment who the players are on these teams.

On Sat night there is more IPL cricket, starting at 10.00 pm and going till about 4.00am. That's a 3hr tape on LP, or most likely watch the first game and tape the second.

    2008-04-17 03:03:26.0

    Wheeeee!!!!XP

    2008-04-17 04:04:05.0

Something to fill the F1 emptiness

    2008-04-17 04:04:28.0

Very busy night tonight for me.....

Rugby league starts at 7.30 pm (Bronco's V Titans), followed at 9.30 pm by the Eels V Sea Eagles game. This ends about 11.30 pm, which gives me a 10 minute snack/drink/comfort break before the IPL Cricket begins at 11.40 pm.

So it looks like Andro will be having a late night. SurprisedWink

    2008-04-17 21:54:24.0

    hahahaha

I was just checking out the broadcast time! (It says 12.15 for me though:-/)

Supposed to have a night out with some out-of-towners, but me thinks I'll have to cut that short:P

    2008-04-17 23:03:17.0

    Ok, so now I'm confused.....

The Sunday Mail TV guide has the IPL starting at 11.40 pm and Letterman starting at 2.40, the Courier Mail weekly TV guide (Wed) says the same thing, however a check of the online TV guide (a few minutes ago) has Letterman starting at 11.30 and the IPL starting at 12.15 (as you said)  Surprised

Bloody TV stations and newspapers, I wish they'd get their act together.Yell

    2008-04-17 23:42:39.0

    LOL!

I'm inclined to think that Letterman will be shown first. It always is

    2008-04-18 01:14:04.0

Watching the match now. So confusing, don't know who is in which team, what the team names are...

Have decided to support Dravid's team, and they decided to bowl first.

    2008-04-18 08:35:28.0

A pretty good spectacle thus far.

    2008-04-18 08:36:51.0

    Except I'm still falling asleep:P

    2008-04-18 08:37:33.0

Yeah, well congratulations to the Knight Riders as they easily beat the Bangalore boys. Thanks in the main to some brilliant batting from (Kiwi) Brendon McCullum.

I found this at the Timesonline.......

Looking like a toy spaceman, with metallic gold helmet and pads over his jet-black Kolkata Knight Riders kit, McCullum quickly sorted that one out.

Having struck Zaheer Khan for 18 in four balls of his first over, his cultivated thrash swept him to a century from only 53 balls. Not content, he advanced to 158 from 73 balls out of a team total of 222 for three. His 13 sixes gave this virgin crowd a taste of what is possible in a form of the game previously alien to them.

It was the highest individual score in any Twenty20 game and it pretty much settled this contest - especially when the red-clothed Royal Challengers lost four early wickets on their way to a pitiful 82. Seeing a vacuous end appeared not to bother the massed stands, though, any more than the defeat for their local side.

    2008-04-18 23:10:46.0

Very entertaining batting, but what followed was an anticlimax, as Bangalore struggled to post 82 runs in reply.

I fell asleep about 2.30 and when I woke up it was all over and I had to wait till this morning to get the final results, but I remember seeing the Bangalore boys falling like ninepins and thinking that maybe I should go to bed.

But it was a good experience and I think that with fine tuning it may get better.

My main complaint was with the sound.. The commentators seemed to be right amongst the crowd and sometimes I had difficulty hearing what they were saying, above the roar of the crowd.

    2008-04-18 23:22:30.0

I was/am confused as to the teams and their make up as well deezee.

I wish I could find a list (I've looked unsuccessfuly so far) of the teams and their players, so that I could pick a favourite team to follow. I believe that this would improve my interest and enjoyment in the competition.

Apart from that (deezee) if you know which team I am supporting, then you can support the opposition.Wink

    2008-04-18 23:46:17.0

Yeah, it was a disappointing second half.:(

    2008-04-19 02:04:54.0

hehehehe You're on Andro! You find a team, and I'll oppose it:P

    2008-04-19 02:05:17.0

... sounds like Chappell, G.S. is gasping for breath.

    2008-04-19 06:06:11.0

    Hey cool! Thanks!

    2008-04-19 08:20:09.0

I just looked at the tv schedule, and it's gonna be cricket all night long!!

Looks like I'm sleeping on the couch tonight:)

    2008-04-19 08:20:41.0

Ok deezee, I'm going for the Deccan Chargers.

So select your team and lets see who wins..Laughing

You can find the players and teams here. (although you probably know that)

I just looked at the tv schedule, and it's gonna be cricket all night long!! Surprised

Actually it's all week long, so It'll be impossible to watch it all. (for me anyway)Undecided

    2008-04-20 00:39:55.0

hehehe yeah... I just watch as much as I can, since my video has decided to die on me as well.

    Starts early tonight - 9.40

    2008-04-20 04:20:02.0

Meanwhile, did anyone watch Hussey in action last night? He was firing!

    2008-04-20 04:20:21.0

Yeah, I saw Hussey in action last night he was on fire allright, I enjoyed his innings very much. James hopes went alright last night as well.

Meanwhile deezee. the second gane tonight, (or should that be the first game tomorrow) is between Kolkata Night Riders and Deccan Chargers and as I have already chosen the Chargers as my team, therefore you have to (by default) support the Night Riders. (but only if you want to)

    So let the games begin!

               Tongue out

    2008-04-20 04:42:04.0

heh Knight Riders eh? Sure, I'm in!XP Have always been a fan;)

    2008-04-20 04:45:04.0

Ok, Knight Riders it is then, they're a good side and it was a toss up whether I went for them or the Chargers. What sealed it for me was the fact that The Chargers have Gilly and Symonds playing for them, but the Knight Riders went well the other night.

Bad luck about your video dying on you, mine did that last year when I had some rellies over to watch some Rugby League videos. (had to adjourn to daughters house)Embarassed

    2008-04-20 04:52:05.0

Alright, settle in, the crappy Ch10 hosts are on. Its starting!!

    XP

    2008-04-20 04:53:45.0

It's a son of a bitch pitch, anyone can win this.

Curator better run for cover at the end of this, esp if Kolkata loseSurprised

    2008-04-20 07:24:17.0

Have to agree about the Ch10 hosts as well. (about the same standard of their F1 team) Frown

    2008-04-20 07:28:52.0

    hahahahah Yeah!

    2008-04-20 18:38:35.0

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the coverage. The games have such a carnival atmosphere, and the players seem pretty relaxed too.
What I love is that they don't go to commercials at the end of every over. *PHEW*

    2008-04-20 18:39:38.0

And it's funny to hear Hindi songs when at breaks or when someone hits a 6!

    2008-04-20 18:40:07.0

Congratulations on your team winning deezee, it could have gone either way.

It was good to watch though, blackout's and all.

I'm really gonna have to get some sleep tonight, that's 3 late nights in a row now.Surprised

    Here is your trophy 'deezee'......

    2008-04-20 21:30:24.0

    Was close wasn't it?

    2008-04-20 21:31:05.0

I only realised after the match started that I was supporting Shah Rukh Khan's team, and that it had Ponting in it Yell

    2008-04-20 21:31:36.0

And yeah, I'm suffering from a lack of sleep now too!

    2008-04-20 21:31:56.0

    Yeah, I really enjoyed it.

You can change teams if you like!

My team the Deccan Chargers are playing the Delhi DareDevils tomorrow (Tuesday) night so you can try them?

    2008-04-20 21:38:55.0

hmmm.... I'll have a look at the listings and let you know;)

    No matches tonight?

    2008-04-20 21:48:44.0

There is a match tonight...Rajasthan Royals V Kings XI Punjab, but I can't see me being awake at the end.

Tomorrow they're playing at Hyderabad, which always brings to mind a sketch that Spike Milligan once did on "The Goon Show". (he was born in India)....

"I came from a town called Hyderabad, which is situated just above Lowderabad".

Well I thought it was funny about 40 years ago.Embarassed

    2008-04-20 21:56:31.0

    LOL! Never heard that before!

    2008-04-20 21:59:11.0

Warnie's on tonight!!! Nice to see him back in actionXP

    2008-04-21 07:51:21.0

I've been wondering. Why aren't there any players from England, WI, Pakistan (I think) or NZ?

    2008-04-21 07:52:04.0

Is it because the cricket boards didn't release their players?

    2008-04-21 07:52:20.0

"I've been wondering. Why aren't there any players from England, WI, Pakistan (I think) or NZ?"

    England: Mascarenhas

South Africa: Smith, Pollock, Kallis, Gibbs, Boucher, Bosman, Steyn, Prince, De Villiers, Morkel, Ntini

    Zimbabwe: Taibu

    West Indies: Chanderpaul, Gayle

New Zealand: Fleming, Vettori, Oram, Styris, McCullum, Taylor, Mills

    Tongue out

    2008-04-21 16:31:16.0

English cricket board are displaying their usual 'up themselves' attitude. They claim their program is too heavy (their season is just starting), their players are paid enough and don't need it, and it might prove more popular than traditional long-format cricket.

Mascarenhas is the only pom thus far...he is a black all-rounder from Hampshire...Warnies mob...

    2008-04-21 16:37:57.0

BTW there are several players from Pakistan

    2008-04-21 16:42:43.0

Whoa! I completely missed them! Had no idea Gayle was in the IPL.

And now I remember seeing Oram. *slapping forehead*

    2008-04-21 17:28:08.0

    Yaaaay! Vettori is there too!

Okay, I obviously need to start paying more attention....:P

    Thanks heller!

    2008-04-21 17:28:48.0

I see that Warnies mob the Rajasthan Royals beat the Kings XI Punjab, with warnie getting three wickets himself. (didn't hear his mobile ring all night)Surprised

I only watched the Kings XI innings as I was falling asleep and it was by then 2.00am.

    2008-04-21 20:41:24.0

hehehe yeah, I fell asleep too....

    Yaaay! I was supporting Warnie's team!XP

    2008-04-21 21:50:22.0

Ooh! you get another trophy then......

    2008-04-21 22:02:12.0

@Hellers (or his last post subject anyway)  The ECB have a real downer on the IPL, just in the same way as they did with the other ideas they haven't come up with themselves or will be earning from (like the Packer Circus).  There is even talk that they threatened Sky Sports when they attempted to get live viewing rights for the IPL, something along the lines of conflicting with domestic cricket games and that "it would probably not be in their long term interest" to show the IPL along side as a choice of viewing.

Now some big-buck Texan has arrived in London and is talking about setting up some supa dupa competion which will pour millions into the ECB coffers.  It's funny that they are listening hard and supporting him all the way.  Bunch of idiot grey haired numpties...!

    2008-04-22 07:00:33.0

numpties indeed...a pox on them all

    2008-04-22 16:01:17.0

Bloody hell, my team (the Deccan Chargers) lost again last night.

Gilly and Roy once again failed to go on with it. (useless bludgers)Undecided

Once again I didn't see the other side bat. (another 2.00am bedtime) Frown

    2008-04-22 19:50:35.0

A ha! So finally first to bat didn't win!

    2008-04-22 20:49:32.0

I got a real kick out of watching McGrath bowling to GillyXP

    2008-04-22 20:49:58.0

Yeah they had a good battle for a short while.

    2008-04-22 21:19:38.0

    Too short unfortunately:(

    2008-04-22 22:02:44.0

    Still, I'm loving it.

The only thing I'd change is the team names. They've made it too complicated, and I keep getting confused.

    2008-04-22 22:03:43.0

Oh, that and the obsession with the cheer leaders:P

    2008-04-22 22:03:57.0

Yeah, I get confused with the teams also.

the obsession with the cheer leaders

I was thinking about that the other night and I wondered what the reaction to them was in India, where they gave Sania Mirza a hard time because of her short tennis skirts? The cheer leaders are wearing a lot less than poor Sania was.

    2008-04-22 22:17:10.0

Yeah.... I think religion comes into play in the Sania scenario unfortunately....

Plus a lot of the cheerleaders aren't Indian, so that would play right into the stereotype they have of Westerners maybe.

Having said that, things have changed in India too.... judging by the stuff the actresses wear in mainstream Bollywood films

    2008-04-22 22:23:55.0

Am watching Warnie's team against Gilly's team. (dek still doesn't have a handle on team names)

    Exciting match thus far!!

    2008-04-24 08:49:09.0

Symonds just scored the fastest 100 of the tournament, and then Warne came out to bowl, and Symonds whacked every delivery as hard as he could!

    Great stuff!

    2008-04-24 08:49:53.0

Yeah I watched the first innings, till about 2.30am then had to get some sleep. (early rise for ANZAC DAY)

And I see that the Deccan Chargers (my team) still havent won a game, in spite of Roy's century. Cry

    Roy went well.....

    2008-04-25 00:04:49.0

hehehe Yeah, it seems that Warnie treated Symond's bowling the way Andrew did his.

I fell asleep too, but saw it on the news.

    2008-04-25 02:45:32.0

Was watching the match last night, and realised how much I like watching Brett Lee in action.

Yes, this was a realisation, given that I couldn't stand him when he first came on the scene, when he was a bit brash and obnoxious, and his style seemed to be just sending each ball down to the batsman as fast as he could.

He's matured immensely as a player (and possibly a person - what would I know?). I like how he plays the game now. It hit me last night that he's quite McGrath-ish now.

    2008-04-27 19:52:18.0

Yes, Lee certainly puts a lot more thought into his bowling than he used to.

He is much more controlled and not nearly as wild as he used to be.

    2008-04-27 21:00:37.0

Yeah.... he actually plays a very smart, savy game

    2008-04-27 21:50:54.0

And I love to see his strategy play out

    2008-04-27 21:51:09.0

Oh thank goodness Ch10 have gotten rid of that stupid irritating 'expert' commentator. He's such a bigot!!

He keeps getting on the case of poor performers like Dravid, saying there's no excuse for them and that they should be dropped and he doesn't understand why they are paid so much, and yet makes excuses for Gilly and Ponting's performance.

And then, last night, he actually said that he hopes one of the bowlers gets Ganguly with a quick bowl and breaks his toe which will keep him out of the rest of the tournament. I'm not sure what Saurav did, but there's no excuse for a statement like that. What an idiot!

    2008-05-04 08:11:17.0

Tonight it's the Delhi Daredevils vs Mumbai Indians. (I'm slowly getting a hang of the teams and players.XP)

    2008-05-04 08:12:41.0

Yeah I agree about the commentators, they should at least appear to be impartial, although few of them are.

I wanted to watch the cricket last night, so I stayed awake long enough to watch the China Moto GP, which was won by Valentino Rossi (Yamaha), second was Dani Pedrosa (Honda), and third was Casey Stoner (Ducati).  For some reason the Ducati's don't have the speed as yet. (It's a mystery).

Anyway back to the cricket, (or rather lack of it in this case). Embarassed

I watched the cricket get underway and the next thing I remember is waking up at 5.45am in my lounge chair and not knowing what happenedSurprised (I've really got to stop doing this). Trouble was that I've had a bad cold the last few days and I think the Anti Histamines I've been taking for it caught up with me. (anyway, that's my story).Tongue out

    2008-05-04 23:31:54.0

hehehe It was a pretty good first half. I'm gonna watch the rest (which I taped) right nowXP

    2008-05-05 05:45:27.0

Watching a match from a few nights ago.

This is the commentary for one ball:

No no NO! Trouble. Direct hit. Gone! Missed.... Safe.
    65 for 3
    -ad break-

    hahahahah

    2008-05-06 05:26:41.0

Hahaha, some of the commentry is very funny...

I watched the game last night, between my team (Deccan Chargers) against the Chennai Super Kings, and (wonder of wonders) the Chargers won.Laughing

    That's two games they've won now...Tongue out

    2008-05-06 23:37:37.0

    Oh cool!!

    I'm gonna watch it now

    2008-05-07 05:27:00.0

I have watched all matches (except for one when Ch10 Bundaberg decided to work on their tower) and have grown to love T20.

I have kept a record of all the "Man of the Match" awards and they show dramatically how the game has evolved even during this IPL tournament. Batsmen were dominating the MOTM for about the first 15 games with 12. Then the bowling got tighter and sneakier and the batsmen only got 5 MOTM's in the second 15 games...

There were 12 Aussie MOTM's during the first 36 games...yes, that's 33% and a lot of them are now gone.

14 Indians, 12 Aussies and 10 Other Overseas

Shane Watson has been MOTM three times

    2008-05-16 16:06:50.0

Jaipur and Mohali are my favourite teams. Mumbai is also nice to watch. I feel really sorry for Hyderabad (Deccan Chargers) they have had so many close results go against them. I dislike Kolkata immensely...mostly because of that horrible little Ganguly...

    2008-05-16 16:13:58.0

As for the dancing girls, they are all lovely IMHO

    2008-05-16 16:15:56.0

I agree with most of what you said heller.

The game has most definitely evolved.

    2008-05-16 21:13:01.0

And I can't stand Kolkata!! Mainly cos of their irritating owner and team members.

My favs are Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals

    2008-05-16 21:13:47.0

Jaipur and Mohali? Which teams are those?

    2008-05-16 21:14:13.0

Watching last night's match now - KKR are at 68-8!!!

    Oooo yeah! muahahaha

    2008-05-16 21:31:40.0

    Oops.... that should be 65-8

They never made it to 68! hahahahaha

    2008-05-16 21:39:32.0

    ...sigh...

    Jaipur are the Rajasthan Royals

Mohali are the Kings Elven Punjab

Last nights match never even made it to 21 overs. it was a massacre. Kolkata only got 67/10 in 15.2 overs. Mumbai replied with 68/2 in 5.3 overs. Shaun Pollock was Man of the Match (another one for the bowlers) and Sanath Jayasuriya was his usual brilliant self.

    2008-05-16 22:16:06.0

I did wait for 30 minutes before replying to make sure you had the chance of seeing both innings.

    Laughing

    2008-05-16 22:17:30.0

Tonight is a double header with Rajasthan Royals taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (suicide bombers permitting) and this is followed by Delhi Daredevils versus Kings XI Punjab

Another way to work it out is Shane Warne v Rahul Dravid and Virendar Sehwag v Yuvraj Singh

    2008-05-16 22:25:44.0

hehehe Thanks for waiting Heller. I've just finished watching itXP

    2008-05-16 22:28:03.0

I agree with most of what you said heller

What did you disagree with? I bet it was the bit about those lovely dancing girls with the huge ti..  Tongue out

    2008-05-16 22:28:13.0

Not disagree, but I can't say I've watched every match.

    2008-05-16 22:28:58.0

Nothing against the cheerleaders. I think they add to the atmosphere. I do wish some of them would put on more fibres though:)

    2008-05-16 22:29:52.0

I'm really enjoying watching Pollock play. I think he's absolutely shone in this tournament, from the time he was captain

    2008-05-16 22:30:27.0

    Can't wait for 8.30 tonight!

    2008-05-16 22:30:46.0

    Yes, and he's a really lovely bloke...for a Saffie!

    2008-05-16 22:31:28.0

    He's such a lovely bloke because he's a 'saffie'!:P

    2008-05-16 22:31:59.0

I also like de Villiers, but he hasn't performed as well

    2008-05-16 22:32:16.0

Wow.... Ganguly is getting booed at the presentation!!:O

    2008-05-16 22:33:18.0

Don't get carried away. I have been in Southern Africa and worked amongst them for nearly 4 years. They are a most arrogant and annoying race of bigots...the whitew ones, that is...

    2008-05-16 22:34:55.0

I can only judge by those I know, and they've all been a pleasure to meet and get to know

    2008-05-16 22:35:30.0

Ok...I will unconditionally withdraw above statement. It was 36 years ago and they must have changed by now. Apologies to all Saffies for having out-of-date (apartheid era) opinions.

    2008-05-16 22:40:57.0

    Embarassed

    2008-05-16 22:44:17.0

Okay, back to the teams - I'm really starting to dislike Punjab as well. Although I think Sreesanth has been one of the top performances in the tourney.

    2008-05-16 22:47:27.0

Also, I wish Bangalore would do better.... but oh well....

    2008-05-16 22:49:24.0

Sreesanth is a spoilt child who should have been slapped daily for the first year of his cricket career...

    2008-05-16 22:50:31.0

    EH? Why you say that?

    2008-05-16 22:51:27.0

I think that title should go to Yuvraj

    bleh

    2008-05-16 22:51:58.0

    bleh to you...you...you indibug...you

    2008-05-16 23:09:39.0

The subs took four catches (3 to AB de Villiers) and annoyed the Deccan Chargers, even though it was within the rules.

    2008-05-16 23:16:29.0

Remember 2005 Ashes when Ponting was caught by England's specialist gulley substitute, then threw all his toys out of the pram as well as breaking the window of the visitors changing room ? Smile

    2008-05-16 23:19:37.0

    LOL! I do!!

    2008-05-17 00:16:24.0

That's just sour grapes by Gilly

    2008-05-17 00:16:37.0

It would have been better to say nothing, but as captain he was probably made to voice his objections

    2008-05-17 00:51:40.0

    Watching Mumbai v Bangalore now.

Mumbai should win, but I'm conflicted abt who to support

    2008-05-17 04:14:36.0

    Are you sure?????

Mumbai played Bangalore back on 20th April...they are not due to meet again until 28th May...

    2008-05-17 04:26:15.0

    Oh D'oh!!

    I mean to say Rajasthan.

    2008-05-17 04:27:25.0

It's not fair. Our coverage doesn't start until 10.30pm. I had better get out of here before you give the game away Laughing

    2008-05-17 07:33:36.0

Watching the match from last nite.... meh @ Mumbai Indians....

Satchin got out in a really silly manner, and then Pollock followed soon after, out for a duck

    2008-05-22 05:22:48.0

Golly! What a crazy  last over!

Can't believe MI lost it! GRRRRRR

    2008-05-22 05:41:32.0

    2008-05-22 06:22:20.0

    Yeah!!! Silly silly

    2008-05-22 18:59:05.0

And I HATE Yuvraj for carrying on like that when they won. grrrr

    2008-05-22 18:59:20.0

    Agree completely...he's ugly...he has a temper...he has no people skills...and his batting is over-rated

    2008-05-22 19:14:43.0

He's started taking himself too seriously as a captain. Bleh

    2008-05-22 19:32:54.0

And yeah, he hasn't performed at all since they won the 20/20 world cup!

    2008-05-22 19:33:21.0

    Bleh

    2008-05-22 19:50:49.0

Tonight, the team I backed (Deccan Chargers) are playing Kings XII Punjab, in game 48.

So far my team have won two games. EmbarassedCry

    2008-05-22 23:36:19.0

Kings XII Punjab (Yuvraj Singh) are now into the semis with the Rajathstan Royals (Warne)

The other 2 places will be sorted out between Mumbai Indians (Tendulkar), Delhi Daredevils (Sehwag) and Chennai Super Kings (M S Dhoni)

Kolkata (Ganguly), Royal Challengers Bangalore (Dravid) and Deccan Chargers (Laxman/Gilchrist) are out of the race.

    2008-05-23 01:06:58.0

:( No more Bangalore and Deccan chargers?!!

    2008-05-23 20:09:45.0

Gosh, I sooo hope Mumbai indians and delhi daredevils take the remaining two spots....

And then I hope all 3 get together and kick Kings XII's grey behind!

    2008-05-23 20:10:45.0

Deccan Chargers (Laxman/Gilchrist) are out of the race.

    2008-05-23 22:55:00.0

I'm forced to back Kings XII...not to say that I wouldn't do it willingly, but I don't really have an option, (do I JASMINDER!?) Wink

So bugger all of you, I hope they go strong!

    2008-05-24 04:39:00.0

Hey, please don't get me wrong. The Kings XII are my 2nd fav team, behind the Raj Royals. It is just sooky Yuvraj that I'm not too fond of...

    2008-05-24 04:55:34.0

    Hahaha yeah....true true

    2008-05-24 06:18:10.0

Can't stand King's XII's captain, and can't stand preity zinta. Just as well, so I can now whole-heartedly dislike anything to do with em

    2008-05-24 06:28:03.0

    Wow...that's preity aggressive for you

    2008-05-24 06:45:37.0

Me too...waiting to see second half

    2008-05-26 20:34:28.0

    2008-05-29 03:31:27.0

    Whew!!

What a match that first semi-final was!!

At the end of Delhi's innings I was really worried for Rajasthan, but they played brilliantly and thrashed Delhi!XP

    2008-05-31 08:25:56.0

Was Shane Watson the man of the match? He was absolutely brilliant!

    2008-05-31 08:26:16.0

    2008-05-31 09:13:36.0

Hang on... are you ahead of me?

    Punjab are still batting?

    2008-05-31 09:14:17.0

really? where are you watching? I'm on cricinfo.com - I have a subscription there to watch the games live, but you dont need one, they give live scorecard and commentary for free and even a 3-d animated simulation ball-by-ball

    2008-05-31 09:16:21.0

Oh yeah, I know abt those....

but I'm watching on Ch 10. Assumed you were too!

    2008-05-31 09:16:59.0

nah, I'm in bed with my lappy - i don't watch the tv downstairs, I hate my flatmates and just dont wanna put up with them

    2008-05-31 09:18:13.0

I've been sleeping on the couch all this while

    2008-05-31 09:18:49.0

       W00T!!! C'mon Chennai!!!

    2008-05-31 09:19:42.0

And then Rajasthan can kick their behinds in the final:P

    2008-05-31 09:19:58.0

Haha, I was just gonna post about it being easier to have it on the lappy so I didn't have to run up and down stairs posting between overs like I did last time, then remembered your comment about "its a laptop, take it with you" der....

    2008-05-31 09:21:25.0

    That was a classic!

    2008-05-31 09:21:56.0

    the rajasthan match was good!

its gonna be a good final no matter what:)

    2008-05-31 09:22:11.0

Although, it's what I used to do when watching the Ashes

    2008-05-31 09:22:17.0

Oh yeah! I watched it this afternoon. Excellent match!

    2008-05-31 09:22:36.0

    2008-05-31 09:23:02.0

I swear I'm gonna take a week off work, just to sit at home on the couch and watch it

    2008-05-31 09:23:19.0

I handed every essay I had due in late that June 4 years ago....

Taking time off sounds like a good plan!

    2008-05-31 09:24:21.0

Holy crap! I don't think Chennai will even have to go through 10 overs! *fark* Cry

    2008-05-31 09:25:08.0

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH

    2008-05-31 09:25:27.0

    2008-05-31 09:25:38.0

LOL! I wish I lived alone again....then we could both be on the same time watching the match!

    2008-05-31 09:26:31.0

    XP

As of 5 hrs ago, I'm living alone again

    2008-05-31 09:27:05.0

Unfortunately if I go downstairs, I'll end up stabbing my fm's instead of watching the cricket and it really would be so tragic to miss the cricket

    2008-05-31 09:27:36.0

    Wink

    2008-05-31 09:27:43.0

    Yeah....

And I don't think they show cricket in prison either...:(

    2008-05-31 09:28:14.0

Meh, I'll worry about prison when it gets to that...

"sure officers, I confess, just let me watch the end of the match before you take me!!"

    2008-05-31 09:29:18.0

    hahahahaha

Offer them some chips and beers, and you might just convince them!

    2008-05-31 09:30:12.0

Yeah, thought of that! I think they'll be happy to find a girl so devoted to watching the cricket. And I'm sure they perfectly understand the reasoning to stab someone during interruption of an important sporting match!

    2008-05-31 09:31:51.0

(unless the cops are female) ugh...

    2008-05-31 09:32:04.0

I'm fairly sure stuff like that has happened during the football world cup

    2008-05-31 09:32:46.0

I remember reading something abt a man stabbing his wife cos she interrupted him during a match

    2008-05-31 09:33:21.0

yeah I heard about that, I think it was '02?

I still wanna stab that fucking ref

    2008-05-31 09:35:07.0

Me and the rest of australia's population i think...

    2008-05-31 09:35:21.0

    LOL!

    Which ref?

    2008-05-31 09:35:48.0

Ohhh... you mean Aust v Italy?

    2008-05-31 09:35:57.0
