Milton State School next Saturday. A few Seppos and Canuks in the world side means we've had to increase the allowable elbow angle from 15 degrees to 30 degrees.

    Eh?

    *scratching head*

Sorry.. explaination - Social work function. The inclusion of a few arm bending North Americans has necessitated a rule change.

Tomorrow is the big day. It will be my first cap for Australia. I'd say there will be a lot of XXXX involved.

    WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    2008-05-24 04:34:44.0

    Noice!!!

    How did you do Ruski?

    2008-05-24 06:28:40.0

Went OK personally. Bored them to death with bat and bamboozled some nth americans with some bouncy off spinners. It was a well earnt victory given we were out numbered 14 to 6. A bowler, keeper, wide 2nd slip and gully leaves a lot of paddock for two people to guard. If it were not for a Kiwi in the world side, we'd have won by a hundred. You'd swear he thought we were playing for a sheep station. Oops ...

    2008-05-24 06:42:21.0

    LOL!!

You actually played with only 6 in your team?!

    2008-05-24 06:43:39.0

Yes. Truth is we only had 5 but since Pommy Paul (distinction from another Paul) married a Aussie Sheila, he was in.

    2008-05-24 06:45:08.0

    hahahaha

    Strict selection criteria I see...:P

    2008-05-24 06:46:33.0

Yes. Strict. The Kiwi in question offered to even things up. That was met with a unanimous NO!

Another Englishman has two kids who were born in Aust. When we asked them to field for us we were met with a "shutup dickhead. No way". Automatic selections.

Sounds like it was really fun!

Brings back memories of when my firm played a team from the external auditors, at Kianawah Park (which was stacked with grade cricketers). I think XXXX won the day. Wink

Sounds like you had a good day Ruski..
