Jane McGrath, the wife of the former Australian fast bowler, lost her long battle with cancer yesterday morning AEST.

It makes me feel very sad, and I really feel for Glen and his Children. (I know just how he feels)

Jane was a lovely person, with a very good nature and humour in the face of severe health problems.

Apparently Jane suffered complications after recent surgery, and passed away at her home accompanied by her husband and children.

Oh no! Will there be a state funeral?

Yeah.... tis very sad.

I thought she was getting better, and was feeling hopeful for her.

I doubt there'll be a state funeral Morgan... Not her style somehow

I thought she was getting better too.... Its sad how sometimes that happens, one minute they're ok, and then they have a sudden downfall and sometimes, that's all it takes

also very sad about Jane...she was really special. The news of her death was numbing and to me was right up there with Steve Irwin...

It was very saddening. When someone like that dies, its almost like a small piece of your heart gets deflated somehow.
