Oh dear, Eng won the toss and decided to bat, and were all out for 110 in 34.3 overs.
In a short time we shall see how Aust handle the pitch. (it's apparently starting to crack)

I fell asleep a bit after they started, and woke up after abt 1/2 hr only to see 5 wickets gone... swore and went back to sleep... when I woke up again, Aust were already batting!!

Now all Aust have to do, is to get both openers to fire at the same time, and get the bowling right. (and not drop catches).
I was quite shocked when Ponting came right out and said he wasn't happy with the team and he tried his best to not point the finger at the bowlers, but it was obvious what he meant...
This was after the match, when he was interviewed by wasisname...
Yeah, well I think that Ponting summed up the Aust effort well.
I mean Aust got a record (for that ground) score, and yet our bowling attack was soo poor that it enabled the Kiwi's to give us a bit of a fright at the end.
The bowling and fielding were definately not up to our normal high standard.
And here I thought NZ did really well

What happened to Symonds in the last match? As in how did he get injured?
He was batting and he made a big hit of the ball, and immediately clutched his right bicep. It appears he has ruptured a tendon, and I believe he is/has undergone surgery in Melb today.
He's out for the rest of the ODI series and Trans Tasman Cup, and is very much in doubt for the World Cup.
