i like the message board styled layout, how the topics are named and viewable after the chat actually took place  it's running dirt slow on Opera though... i wonder why

it's a pretty heavy web-app.  opera, while rendering beautiful, probably chokes on the disgusting amount of javascript that runs this place.

strangely enough, i've seen benchmarks that put opera's performance well above that of firefox, but i'm not getting any real slowdown

you should download the notifier if you plan on staying...it's extremely useful

this is odd... why does my last entry hang down at the bottom of the chat window rather than getting put chronologically where it should be?

because lace is the only chat system in the world i have seen where new entries are at the top

perhaps it was just a little timing goof up with refreshing the window versus the actual log time

i find it extremely convenient. lace just gets a little out of hand with sometimes even three people

my gripe is that it stalls on me rather frequently, and i have to close the window and sometimes log back in to get it working again

it's also very limiting.  single line posts, no formatting or organization to speak of.
