It basically means shared access to your personal data
A cool illustration of that - to be able to open Explorer and have all your services there - flickr, facebook etc. You could drag and drop an image from one folder to another!
The aim is to get all services to agree to the same standards first, so that the data can be universally accessed

The work group has more than 1000 participants, including Microsoft, Google, Facebook
Hmmm I think this idea - to make it a brand so that users see it and know they can trust the site
They're now talking about how the movement started in Aust, but there's more buzz and support in the States.
That's a bit sad
The discussion has now turned to the technical aspect of it, and what is involved in implementation
