Here's Leslie's notes from today's impromtu "meeting":

Hello beautiful successful incredibly talented subcommittee members!

You are now part of the best, coolest, most efficient subcommittee ever! We've already had our first meeting. I am typing the minutes from that here, and then Jon L. will be taking the email addresses and forming either a yahoo group or another efficient means for us all to communicate.

Our service positions are as follows:

• Laurie  Chair
• Jon L.  Tech advisor and MC
• Leslie  Speaker chair
• Avis  Venue chair

What we agreed was as follows:

We will begin looking at dates in Jan., Feb, or March, and Avis volunteered to call the Knights of Columbus for availability (this is the same venue the Tues. night meeting used).

I have volunteered to get speakers, and I've already started asking! Jon says he will MC and take care of our tech communication.

The next item will be to schedule another meeting. to propose a date to go back to the group with, and a suggested donation. At the next Thurs. BDA business meeting we would like to propose a date, location and donation.
