So it's that time again (Beer 2.0), and I'm looking forward to it. I've been checking out virtual offices around the CBD, and would love with anyone who as a startup has gone down that path.

So, Beer 2.0 just finished.

It was great! I think we had about 30-35 people. Which meant that I didn't get to talk to everyone, but lots of new faces, lots of beer (but of course), and lots of great conversation!

A big Thank You to all who attended.

The biggest Beer 2.0 I've seen so far, Wednesday night's gathering was awesome. I met some really cool people this time with some really interesting ideas, and a few new friends I hope to catch up with over the next couple of weeks.

Unfortunately I pretty much went from there home to bed, and am only now emerging, after a couple of days sick as a dog. Hope this is not a Beer 2.0 thing I can look forward to each time.

Not sure if anyone noticed there were 5 Richards there this time... Weird. At one point in one conversation, there were 3 Richards, a Rai, and a Rory. Maybe we should be looking at R2.0?

Missed Marty, as this was his first time out, but I actually found this to be a really good opportunity to meet new people. Early in the night it used to be Marty who wandered around pulling in the lost souls and the newbies sitting by themselves - I remember being one of them only a few weeks ago myself - and in trying to pick up and continue this tradition a little I had the opportunity to speak with some really interesting people.
