Sharogle.com :: Get paid to search the net
hmm, thought this was a scam along the lines of "Surf Junky" where they pretend that they'll pay you for being online and having ads served to you occasionally
Since it's actually a search engine I wouldn't call scam with any certainty but it'd be reassuring to hear that someone had managed to get paid from using this
anyone seen it before? able to say either way?

"Free" and "lottery" aren't concepts that go together easily in my mind, how does this thing work? Ad-supported?

Anyone interested in beta-testing a new type of discussion boards?
Does it include any way to specify that a certain post is a reply to another? Otherwise I can see it turning into a mass of disassociated thoughts without any actual discussion going on
More fluidity is good though - I still think it would be cool if Tangler was able to have one topic that appears in 2 groups simultaneously without having to duplicate anything - just somehow tell the database that the topic belongs to 2 different groups

From Pownce.com (which just came up randomly via StumbleUpon, quite a coincedence):
If you don't have a code, enter your email below to get on the list or find a nice friend who'll get you in.
Sounds to me like invites could be a possibility... unless that's only talking to people who are friends of the developers

Weekly Beta Newsletter via email
what would be highly web2.0-ish is if Tanglers somehow had a say in what appears in the news
maybe each week/month/whatever you can choose a topic to promote, most votes = appears in the digest
just an idea
(I know I probably wouldn't actually bother to vote)
