I'm considering doing a weekly email newsletter about new beta news. 

Just a quick update on any new groups and any big news in existing groups.

What do you think? 

Excellent... do you think it could be done as an appendix to the Tangler Weekly update we get... a bit more work to set up but you then give added value to the weekly review.... You could do some others as other group dynamics got to the point when it gets tough to keep the ebb and flow in perspective

Mmm. Good idea Bric. Reinforce Tangler and add value with a good cross section of news.... You could have links to topics in Tangler where stuff is being discussed....

what would be highly web2.0-ish is if Tanglers somehow had a say in what appears in the news

maybe each week/month/whatever you can choose a topic to promote, most votes = appears in the digest
