I don't know if anyone here is interested but it is in "beta" not really as they say in their FAQ they chose not to use the beta title because it misrepresents what they are trying to accomplish. Its free to download, you don't need any invites, and I have started a discussion group on it already.

Just wish they were promising to let you keep this app, instead of making it log in every time and keeping you dependent on their service

The app remembers your login to screencast.com and logs in for you ... try running it while you're offline. It phones home, and if they hit the switch on their server it will just stop working
