Well since there isnt a group for this i thought i'd add it, if anyone has got trillian astra and is generous enough to hand out some invites for us little people who are salivating at the idea of trying out this great app please post here

Sorry mate, you don't just get an invite from someone, I believe you can only get an invite directly from the staff. It's not even beta yet, it is limited alpha... Props to anyone who's gotten an invite so far.
Yeah, for real. Although the company behind Trillian hasn't exactly been known for speedy development or keeping up with their products very well, I hope things have changed.
No. Cerulean Studios sends out the invites to those people who sign up for the Alpha on their website. It is not like some of the other beta sites on the web, where you accrue invites, and then send them to other people. My advice, if you want in (and bear in mind that it is in Alpha, not Beta), that you sign up to participate in the alpha on their web site, and wait for the e-mail (if you get invited) advising you that you have been allowed to participate in the testing. You have to be a Trillian Pro Member (do not quote me on this, because I do not know for sure). I got in a few months ago.
And how is it atuarre?
I think it is AWESOME!. Every now and then, I will see people complain because this is not working, or this has not been updated, and these people need to realize that it is still in ALPHA. I personally like it however, and am anticipating the finished product so I can see the fruits of their labors.

Like I said, do not quote me on that, but I think you have to be Trillian Pro; good thing though is yesterday Cerulean Studios announced a new method for you to pay for your subscription to Trillian Pro. Go over to their website and read the most recent entry on their blog.
They are on that bandwagon where you go to an advertisers site, and sign up for something, or do a trial thing, and the advertiser will pay for your subscription. Just read about it over on their website.

Like I said before, I *think* you have to be a pro member to trial Astra, if you get invited to the alpha, but read the website and ask questions to find out for sure.
