I blog cause I'm a frustrated writer.
Or do I?
I love getting comments. I love mybloglog. I love seeing my stats. So it's an ego thing too.
Maybe that's why I wanted to be a writer in the first place. Not just to write, but to get response and attention.
I really do wonder why people blog....
I'm not a blogger, but I've signed up and have a place, but I just can't bring myself to write stuff on it.... I don't want to be too general, but of course don't want to get too personal as well....

But seriously, I blog to let a specific audience of people know what I'm up to. It's a method of broadcasting things I think would interest them, all of which have me as a category. There is some fame seeking, but that's not a big thing. I frankly don't look and don't care about my reader stats.

I blog for a few reasons
In no particular order:
1. To be heard
2. To learn (through teaching - and through comments)
3. To connect
4. To clarify my thinking (for myself and others)
5. To build traffic
6. To build reputation
7. To keep our stakeholders informed
8. To join the conversation
As a photobloger, I blog to get feedback on my picture and improve my skills.
I also blog to share... with my friends and familly.
And I would like to (text) blog because as Mick said; "'I'm a frustrated writer".
ppl blog because they want to be heard or to gain popularity. some people do it just for fun.
Yep, I do it for a bit of all of that. I have a priavte one for fun, or a personal one I mean.
And a work one to connect with other people.
I blog mainly because I love to share and I enjoy writing and journalism.
I also blog because I love surfing for interesting stories and Iove to have a place just to shout my lungs out. If you have an issue, let the words set you free.

By starting a Tangle. Not sure if it will work, but so far I'm loving it.

Blogging promotes interaction. Real blogs anyway. For a company or big entity, it rocks. Sun Development moved from newsletters to a blog. Gone are the days of filling up your coworker's inboxes with email upon mass email looking to explain something And that's just the corporate side. On the everyday side, people want to express themselves and be heard, even if for just 15 minutes
