  Political Timing of This Movie

  If it is the case that "the majority" of people are repulsed by the Afghanistan/Iraq conflicts and the conduct/outcomes etc are so devastatingly wrong, immoral and disgusting, why will it be that almost all of the politicians who supported the invasions in the first place will be re-elected to Parliament/Senate/Congress or whatever.  Where are all the so-called "people of principle"???

  There is simply not enough people with the conviction to give their vote to a politician who will not support war when they balance it against the that maybe the one who is uncommitted or not against war, will do  a much better job of preserving the dollar or pound in their pocket.

  Who are you voting for?

  In case you guys have forgotten something.  It doesn't matter who you vote for you end up with a politician in the hot seat.  A change in one direction will always mean something being exposed in another.  The best analagy I can think of is as follows:

  You have a quilt that fits your bed - Your girl turns over and then you have no quilt.

  Much the same with everyones gripes.  You cover one lot and the other lot come along.
