There seems to be very little distinction between Clinton and Obama's current view of the war in Iraq - although, in my mind, one was "right" and one was "wrong" in the early stages.

Who are you voting for and it is because of their position on the war?

    2008-02-27 15:07:32.0

Well I'm not voting, because I live in the UK :P

Supporting Obama, not related to the war though.

    2008-03-08 04:44:42.0

Yeah, I ain't voting either, but I'm leaning towards Obama. He seems sincere and projects integrity

Plus if that Techcrunch candidate comparison thing is any indication, he's got some good policy on technology stuff.

Clinton.. I dunno, something about her just doesn't seem all that nice. Looks kinda spiky, I'm not getting the same warmth/sincerity as with Obama. Plus, a cynic might say she's trying to get a foot in the door by virtue of being Mrs Bill ;)

not old enough to vote, but would prefer Obama for much the same reasons as previous posters have noted.

Yeah, I agree with SK. There's something about Clinton that I can't quite put my finger on.

    I still like Bill better

If anyone has not heard of Dr. Ron Paul and his message of Limited Govt, humble Foreign Policy, abolishing the IRS and Income Tax, dismantling of the Federal Reserve and sound money check him out!

He is the ONE true NO WAR candidate. Even Obama and Clinton are calling for a base to remain in Iraq for the foreseeable future.

Support the Troops, Bring them HOME!

Join me and Vote Ron Paul for President in 2008!

Join me and Vote Ron Paul for President in 2008!

Aside from the fact that I'm British, that would be very hard if he's not in the running - at this stage he looks very unlikely to get the Republican nomination (that's all but guaranteed to be McCain) and he's said that he won't run as an independent.

So uhh... hate to burst your bubble but...

    2008-03-12 07:28:08.0

No Bubble Bursting here my friend! Dr. Paul has not dropped out of the 2008 Presidential race. He will be spreading his message and campaigning in each of the upcoming primaries, Pennsylvania and North Carolina to name a couple. I will concede my vote when I am sure Dr. Paul will not be on the ballot in November.

Until then, VOTE RON PAUL 2008!

    2008-03-14 07:08:36.0

    Fair enough ;)

    Just saying....

    2008-03-16 07:46:13.0

Ron Paul is okay but most people think he sounds like an "idiot"!!! Nobody wants to listen!! that's our "american way"  Only listen to what the "people want to hear"! WE NEED TO LISTEN!!!    NO MORE WAR!!  We need to vote Democratic no matter what your thoughts are on:PRO LIFE!!!!! tHAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OUR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN DYING EVERYDAY IN A FOREIGN LAND FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S "GRUDGE"!!! BRING OUR CHILDREN HOME!! NOW!!

Obama is the change we need - Hillary is too connected to Corporate powers as is McCain - we need to take back America.   If McCain becomes president, he will never leave Iraq - then bomb Iran.

    2008-03-22 23:25:15.0

    I Agree 100%

    2008-03-23 07:18:22.0

Mccain is a war junkie like Bush

    2008-03-23 07:19:15.0

In case you guys have forgotten something.  It doesn't matter who you vote for you end up with a politician in the hot seat.  A change in one direction will always mean something being exposed in another.  The best analagy I can think of is as follows:

You have a quilt that fits your bed - Your girl turns over and then you have no quilt.

Much the same with everyones gripes.  You cover one lot and the other lot come along.

    2008-03-23 11:35:58.0

If I could vote it would be for the Good Dr Paul. He is the only one that wants to end the war immediately. His grassroots movement is in the process of taking over the GOP at county and state level. He is about Freedom Peace & Prosperity.

What is so crazy about being a constitutionalist? I don't understand why anyone would think following the rule of law was crazy?

    2008-03-29 18:08:58.0

It is way way past time for MAMA to take over...There is nothing wrong with Hilary ...  the reason why you can't put your finger on it...is simply JUST BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN...

    2008-04-17 11:10:22.0

We almost need to clean the slate and start fresh. Mccain CANNOT be our next Pres. Which ever Dem finishes

I will vote for. I have 3 sons and pray for someone who can lead us into PEACE.......

    2008-04-24 20:31:04.0

Its time to put a woman in the white house.  Men have tried for over 200 years and haven't gotten it right yet.  Let her turn the BITCH light on.  And get us the hell out of IRAQ.

You speak as if all men are in fact the same person. Stop it.
