I'm currently reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina

Have developed a real love-hate relationship with the book.

It's a pain to read at times, and it's sooooo long, but I really wanna know what happens. Irritating writing style as well.

Recently read Dostoyevsky's The Brothers Karamazov, and that was pretty good. Looooooong as well.

What's up with all these looooooong novels?

I have read dostoyevsky's crime and punishment and know what you mean by love hate relationship. I really liked it in the end but found it hard going. Some very rich themes running through it..

Notes from the Underground is worth reading as well from Mr. Dostoyevsky...Oh, and The Idiot too!

I really enjoyed Crime and Punishment, but The Brothers Karamazov is by far my favorite from Dostoyevsky

I think after all this time, I am now ready to read Dostoyevsky again... Will be looking to get my hands on Crime and Punishment. Or did I already get it?:-/
