Having only just cracked the cover, I don't have much to say about it yet other than noting Wolf's approach to a very complex subject appears to be an interesting one to explore. She worries about the echos of history being forgotten by the very people who need to heed the lessons of history. More to come as I get further into the book...
It will be interesting to see what the November elections bring.... slip sliding away or?
Palin is at the forefront of the attack crowd. Latest news is she is iignoring her "handlers' (Ex BUsh team members) and acting as a rogue without heeding the McCain camp people either.... Looks as if she is setting up plans for 2012
So she'll lose McCain the election?
Or do you think he's fully capable of doing that on his own?
I was a fan of McCain back in 2000 -- but its been a slow relentless slide downhill since then. Since the early days of the primaries (before he got a lock on the Republican nomination) when he abandoned the "Straight Talk Express" for slling his sould to the Rove and neocon crowd I've been appalled... He's managed to lose his honour and every part of his decency.
Then along came Sarah.
In an interview yesterday, She openly campaigned for the 2012 ticket... It has some in the McCain staff speechless - the Sarah camp is gathering up its forces to drum Frum et al out of positions of influence (so that would be a good thing) and the destruction could be complete... No way she can actually make it to the primary process herself in 2012 thankfully..
Ooooh.. did she?! I'll have to hit the news sites for that.
I find her completely repulsive.
And here I thought Paris Hilton would be the ickkiest public figure ever![]()
Paris Hilton is a vamp for all the right reasons (if that makes sense) ... she doesn't have the potential to bring harm to great swaths of humanity. Palin is one of the scariest byproducts of a system gone horribly, destructively bad. Get me wound up and I'll tell you what I really think of her...
Yeah... agreeing with you there.
I feel sorry for Hillary Clinton actually....
To have Palin come as long as the next female running for office.... and gaining popularity (so it seems) by being the complete opposite
(read: bimbo)
As a male I don't think I can say Bimbo (but then again its probably more politically correct that the terms I might use)
LOL! Yeah
CNN coverage of Palin's interview where she pitches for national presence post election outcome:
Sarah Palin is just too funny
Gawd... this is almost enough to bring me to my knees in prayer...
Sending ...
