BMW's first double-clutch gearbox!
Gee, another gearbox that "almost as good as a conventional manual". Why don't these guys wise up and realise that the trick paddle shift rubbish only makes sense on a track? For street driving give me a conventional box any day. Ugh.

I'll take one to drive to work. I never get over 60 KM/H anyway, and Aussie roads are just as bad....
Like the Asus EEE PC, wonder if they'll be 'hacks' for this? A turbo version would be cool.

Now that we're getting a good sized international audience, tell us about your favourite drives. They can be long trips, or a particularly nice short loop near your home that is deal for your sports car or motorcycle, like Highway 9 in California's Santa Cruz Mountains, or Pacific Highway in Sydney, from Hornsby to Gosford. I've driven San Francicso to Vancouver BC straight through in 18 hours, and have crossed the Nullarbor twice. It's all good, so tell us about your favs!
