The link is to one that caught my eye... the 1976 Chevy Chevette .

My wife won the Pontiac version (Acadian) for me in a contest when they first introduced the car in Canada due to the first "oil shock"   and I had some interesting drives in it (including getting it stuck in a mud hole 17 miles from the nearest paved and regularly driven road on our first drive in it!)....

Speaking of Acadians, I'd love to have 1963 Acadian to go with my Nova of similar vintage.  Canadian Pontiacs are unique and pretty rare down here.  I've seen only one Nova-based Acadian in California.  Like a condo in Vancouver, probably something else I should have bought when the Loonie was low.

Remember these?  Niki 650 (aka Fiat 600) built in Poland and sold in Oz.  Makes a Mighty Boy look luxurious!

Hyundai Excel.... crappiest car I ever loved. Dad had it when I was young. It was what I learnt to drive in (when he wasn't looking)

Everytime Dad went overseas, even for a couple of days, I'd have to disconnect the battery. EVERYTIME
And he got the battery changed so often along with that

A friend of mine had one of those. It was the two door hatch of about the same vintage. We called it the W-R-Excel.

That is not a bad little car. I mean it must have been good if it was in production for over 25 years and it is practical which makes up for its speed.

For truly bad cars the Lada range would suffice. Worst one in my opinion is the Lada Samara. I love that name.

At least the Mighty Boy was cute!

A new on like this would be pretty cool.  Just make a ute version of the Swift.
