No. The stripes on the XC were derived from the Mustang 2 Cobra edition in the US as a way for Ford to flog the last remaining 2 door XC body shells. Now one of these in decent condition is about 50K for a driver, and much more for restored one.
Here is the Mustang 2 Cobra. One of Charlie's Angels drove on the TV show. Not a performance car at all, most had a 2 litre 4 cyl out of the Pinto. This car almost killed the Mustang forever it was so bad.

Yeah, I saw a new TT the other day. The design even looks better on a smaller package than the R8. I never liked the original TT, but the new one is very pretty.

I agree. If I was looking for a roadster I'd buy the new MX-5 Hardtop. It's cheaper, and you can't realise the potential of the Audi on Australian roads anyway.

A good XC Coupe is worth a packet these days, even if it's crap. Wish I'd bought a XC Cobra a few years ago.

I've usually owned Chevrolets in the US, but that's vintage stuff, pre 1970. My daily driver in California is a Ford, and I've owned two others. Out here, I'm still biased to GM (Holden) if I was to buy a sedan. I think the new VE looks better than the falcon, and has better engines, particularly the SS and HSV ones.
Ford needs to get it's act together out here or they're going to follow Nissan to be an importer only. The new Falcon is a nice car, but they need to engineer it for LHD and export it to the USA like Holden is doing (USA and China) or Toyota (middle east) if they want to survive. The Territory is a great SUV, and looks better than the American market equivalents, and it should be exported as well. I'm not an SUV guy, but I'd take the Territory over an Explorer any day.
