I'm sure everyone has heard of the special Aston Martin project - the One-77?

The way they talk about it - made me fall in love with cars all over again.

(ok, I know a lot about it is just PR, but given that all 77 cars have already been sold, and I might never get my own grubby paws on one, it matters not)

I'm now holding out to hear how it sounds! Can't wait

The other day I was in the local auto parts store. A blonde comes in and asks for a seven ten cap. We all looked at each other and said, "What's a seven ten cap?" She said "You know, it's right on the engine. Mine got lost some how and I need a new one." What kind of a car is it on," they asked? Now I'm thinking maybe an old Datsun Seven Ten, but no, she said its a Buick. "OK lady, how big is it?" She makes a circle with her hands about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. What does it do?," we asked. She said, "I don't know, but its always been there." One of us gave her a note pad and asked her if she could draw a picture of it. So she makes a circle about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and in the center she writes 710.

The guys behind the counter are looking at it upside down as she writes it...and they just fall down behind the counter laughing so hard in hysterics.

  (draw a circle, write 710 in the middle of it, and turn it around)

As for the Aston One-77, well as you know I am an Aston Martin fan from way back, starting with the DB4.

I think that they are absolutely beautiful and it's a pity I won't ever get to own one..

Yeah, Astons are special.

I still aspire to one day own one... I want one more than I want a Ferrari, believe it or not

Who knows, by the time I have money, the One-77 might be going for cheap

Yep, i think Astons are more stylish than Ferrari's, (but I don't mention that on the Scuderia Forum)

But in my case ambition has been overtaken by reality and with most of my super frozen and slowly being whittled away, by the time this economic crisis is over I will be flat out filling the fuel tank of one..

Yes, already lost at least 14% (that I am aware of) so far..

Was leaving it there for a rainy day, but now that it's started to rain, I found it difficult to find my umbrella and when I did find it, I discovered that the moths had eaten big holes in it...
