Saw one of these in the Telegraph this morning. Nearly spewed. All ssanyong products are sooo ugly. Looks like their DNA was damaged by nuclear waste or something. Check out this mutant:

Oh dear.... that's bad...
That's a rural/trade vehicle aimed at urban drivers
These should be banned and not imported. They'll scare people.
hahahah yeah!

My final contribution. This one is so ugly it's kinda cute. You'd want to save it from being picked on by other cars. Like an ugly puppy. Or not.
Not...
look it's a kid bus 4x4 !!!... wow haven't seen one of them before... (territory, adventra, crewman, murano, kluger, tribune, ... the list keeps getting longer..)
I stopped keeping track a loooooong time ago.... prob round abt the time the RAV4 was released
Drive behind this just now
Lemme just say it belongs in this topic....
The back is so high, it was like driving behind a transport truck....
Couldn't see a darn thing
Don't designers take into consideration other road users??
No they don't. Try driving an MX-5 in California behind a Surburban. Worse, park between two of them. My little MX-5 shakes in fear!
i know..... see, the thing is, i can understand if it's a big vehicle....
But these days, even sedans have such high rears that you can't see thru.... it's downright dangerous!
and really really bad for fuel economy..... and handling.....
... and me!
Saw the Volvo C30 on the roads the other day.... bleh!

Doesn't look half bad in the pic - but in real life, trust me, it'll scar your retinas!
It's not that bad, Dek. Give us a break over here. At least it's not an SUV. That would really be ugly.
They have an SUV that looks pretty much the same... I didn't post it cos I didn't want it to look like I was picking on em!

UGH!!!
MY EYES!!
hehehe
That's ugly. The CTS is merely 'different'. Besides, too many BMW's over here. You need something different to break things up.
One word. Dreadful!
Nah.... the CTS is real ugly to me. That's an appalling front
I'd rather have this as an SUV.

Or this:

I really like the Unimog. So ugly it's cute, and can climb walls.
heheheh Expanding the definition of SUV are ya?
Most SUV's never go off road, and the only exercise they get is climbing the odd kerb or two. I'd make a rule that all SUV's would have to be 1) White only, 2)Vinyl and rubber interior that can be hosed out, 3) 4x4, solid axle only, 4) Diesel and manual transmission only. That way, if you really needed one for harsh conditions they'd be available, but everyone else would buy a more appropriate car, like a mini-van or station wagon. Save the planet, and beautify the highways.
Ideal for the school run in Tibet wouldn't you say...
Or Afghanistan. Just need to mount the .50 cal in the back, and you're all set!
Theres an FC101 for sale not far from here. If only I had 30 grand to splash ...
I always get a good chuckle when I see this -
| Will arrange for local pickup only (no postage). | ||
Yeah. It appears working out where to stick the stamp is beyond most sellers. The top left hand corner is the obvious choice.
* oops I mean top right hand corner. Remind me never to post a car.
hahahaha
Sure!
I wonder what the missiles were? Also the 101's that were used for radio (and some which were used for command and control duties) were 24volt and it doesn't say on the ebay advert if it's 12 or 24.
LOL!
Dear car gods.... please let this one remain a concept!
It's actually better looking than most of the Nissan products these days. Even the new Godzilla is pretty ugly IMHO.
Goodness know what the Japanese manufacturers' designers are smoking these days
Something bad, I think. ![]()
hahahah yeah!
I'll have some.
![]()
And there was me thinking that you were the source of supply...![]()
Hey!!!!
If I were the supplier, I'd have changed whatever it was the moment I saw the first generation of ugliness. Would have given them whatever the Germans are smoking
I think I would have just smoked them. And the Germans...
LOL!!
That's what you get when you take their prescriptions away
And there was me thinking that you were the source of supply...
No. Though I did provide the HMAS Melbourne. Ironic if a Jap car made from recovered scrap from the Her Majesty's ever collided with a Chrysler Voyager?
... but impossible given it was sold to China. ![]()

Honestly.... what a way to kill a perfectly good looking car

H'mm, wonder where you can buy that tartan paint? ![]()
Might be cloth actually
*checks*
hahahahah It's a plastic cover!! I'm guessing vinyl
Back to the 80s we go
Whatever it is, it's not a good look....
Damn right!
It might be McLaren Tartan...![]()
McLaren Tartan? What do you mean?
*groan*
Each Celtic Clan has an identifying Tartan. It's mainly associated with Scottish Clans. The Clan, in this case would be McLaren and because that car looks a bit sporty you might want to make a link between it and the McLaren Racing Team. Or not, in your case...
Andro, what are we going to do with her...!?
You couldn't possibly mention McLaren in this forum and not expect me to think of this:

Now what in the world would that have got to do with tartan?!
You see the source of my confusion?
