I'm more of a fruity cocktail person, but this really means anything that is not creamy.

e.g. I like Caprioska'a and the one like that with Lychees.  Vodkas, rums, etc.

Having said that, I love the toberlone cocktails from the Shangrila Hotel in sydney. Great view and $20 cocktails, but worth it. Perfect for when friends are in town. Blu Horizon Bar

    2006-12-16 23:46:17.0

Yeah, it's nice. Karen and I went there on a date once. Or for My birthday.

    2006-12-16 23:46:59.0

    Where's the Toblerone?

    2006-12-16 23:52:50.0

i like both creamy and fruity cocktails....but i am guilty of gulping down the fruity ones too fast. creamy ones tend to go a longer way....

ok now i am torn between the two.

    2006-12-16 23:53:53.0

when the remainder of my friends return back home from Brissie, we are planning to hold a bollywood themed party....i'm not the brain child of this. But i assume it'll be fun watching everyone all dressed up. and there will be plenty of cocktails all around. lychee martinis top the list and i am fishing for more ideas....toblerone is great too.  anymore to recommend?

    2006-12-16 23:55:46.0

No idea... I've had plenty of cocktails, but with my memory, I can never remember their names.... so I never have em ever again...

    Perpetual discovery:P

    2006-12-16 23:58:02.0

Btw Swinger if you're looking to enjoy half priced Martinis then check out Morton's bar at the Oriental Hotel - Monday's to Friday's 5-7pm. Comes up to $10 after gst. Non-Singaporeans - don't gape!!

It'll be my hangout on Friday's with colleagues next year - new year resolution!!

    2006-12-17 03:37:52.0

    mmmm....half priced maarrrtttinniiis.......sounds glorious....esp since i have yet to find a job!:P

    2006-12-17 04:36:57.0

I second Blu Horizon for cocktails.  Zeta bar is good for fruity ones though and I think they could be a little cheaper than $20.

    2006-12-17 15:12:28.0

i am thinking of a career option in opening a cocktail bar. screw biomedical engineering. Tanglerites get a discount.;)

    2006-12-17 23:07:44.0

    I'm there!!

    *hic*

    2006-12-18 01:04:19.0

maybe you can boimedically engineer something to produce cocktails...:P

    2006-12-18 01:05:04.0

i wouldn't mix the two dek....considering the fact that i work with bacteria and germs and various fluids from the body...and when i say body, they dun necessarily mean human bodies.

    2006-12-18 02:28:42.0

    there you go... bio cocktail

    :P

    2006-12-18 03:53:35.0

    question is....will YOU drink it?

    2006-12-18 03:54:13.0

Hey, if it gets me high, and tastes good enuf, sure!

    hahahhaha

    2006-12-18 03:54:57.0

okkk.....just dun look for me if u start growing whiskers and a fuzzy tail after a couple of years...

    2006-12-18 03:55:44.0

That's ok.... then I'll finally start looking the part of Pinky

    2006-12-18 03:58:00.0

pinky doesn't have a fuzzy tail....he has a long slender and i would think hairless tail.

    2006-12-18 03:58:55.0

Ok... then make sure you include that in your cocktail

    :P

    2006-12-18 04:03:33.0

Where's Blu Horizons and why does Zeta bar sound so familiar!!! Damn this poor memory!!

    2006-12-18 08:13:35.0

    Perpetual discovery:P

What a great term - I shall have to remember that for myself!

    2007-04-10 18:12:08.0

I like the ones with Bacardi (I think) and fresh crushed fruit and ice and mint. Can't remember their name. I think if I am going to have a drink I like fruity styles although I have been led astray recently into the world of shooters - in which case I prefer them creamy. Some girls and I went away for a night last week and one of us took Butterscotch Schnapps and the other took Baileys. Guess what we had?! "C--ksucking Cowboys - shooters all night. I do prefer fruity cocktails though and some nice nuts on the side and a view (I also like the Shangri-La, formerly the ANA).

    2007-04-10 18:16:19.0

    mmmm....i luuurve cowboy shots!!!!

    2007-04-10 22:18:24.0

You'll have to have them at your party. Easy peasy to make. Schnapps first - then the Baileys. You will need shot glasses though cos they are very rich and creamy and need to be drunk in small bursts!

    2007-04-10 22:51:22.0

yeah we used to have them all the time when i was living in brisbane. i love having to pour it such that they dun mix...mmm....such fond memories.

there was once my friend attempting making the shots and what he created resembled the consistency of Nestum ...blech!

    2007-04-11 01:21:07.0

    I miss Nestum

    qq

    2007-04-11 01:23:54.0

i hate it. i hate anything mushy and squishy and falls into the category of not solid but not liquid either. hate hate HATE.

    2007-04-11 01:32:06.0

    But it tastes sooooooo good....

And I make it such that it isn't mushy and squishy

    2007-04-11 01:33:56.0

the same goes for porridge. i will not have any of it.

    2007-04-11 01:35:22.0

I'll have it.... but when it's at my consistency preference

    2007-04-11 01:37:28.0

I can't believe I'm having this conversation again

    2007-04-11 01:37:39.0

Had a similar one 2 days ago

    :-/

    2007-04-11 01:38:21.0

I lurv porridge. Such comfort food. My nanna used to make a huge potfull (is that even a word?) for the grandkids. Hers had a fair bit of cream, salt and sugar in it. Mmm mmm mmm.

    2007-04-11 02:32:28.0

there was once my friend attempting making the shots and what he created resembled the consistency of Nestum ...blech!

I had one or two like that! I found washing the glasses before each go helped...

We were playing cards, it was raining outside, twas a really pleasant night.

    2007-04-11 02:33:41.0

mmmmmmmmmmmm Nestum - i'm not sure if it's my bad memory or what but they dun make Nestum like they used to. i remember them tasting really awesome some 15 yers ago but tried it recently.

BLECHH!!! How do kids eat the stuff?

    2007-04-11 07:16:07.0

    2007-04-11 07:16:24.0
