  great debate PC's or MACS: reasons for choice?

  I would feel like an idiot using a one-button mouse.. like it was a toy computer and they hadn't bothered including all the detail

  I also don't like the whole Apple-loving culture they try to inspire - the idea that buying a mac somehow brings you into the "mac community". (It is just a computer, not a life decision) 

  oh, and some people say they don't like Windows because it tries to lock you in to Microsoft formats and practices and so on, but with mac, you're locked to their hardware. I like being able to upgrade once in a while, dunno if you can do that with a mac but I somehow doubt I could just pop the side off and switch the motherboard for a new one
