there are a number of projects that are working on writing the code - like "practical portability" and Diso

we can also create pointers to the code work that others are doing

Personally, I like the middle row, second from the left. A very clever yet simple icon with the intertwined d & p and arrows showing movement. Very solid IMHO.

Is this really the best 15?  One or two of these deserve to be here but I hate to say it, I think you left the real diamonds back in the mine.   Given the weak field, and remembering the original guidelines... there are only a couple here that really work in B&W and as favicons... and they don't really convey movement.  It's like an election between Bush and McCain... why vote... it really doesn't matter.
