That little blue g - that's new right??
It has to be new.... I've never seen it before, and it's throwing me off

I noticed it too and wondered why....I liked the old "G"
wow....its actually very hard to find that information...
Mine's still displaying the old G, search bar and bookmark favicon have yet to change
Yeah, my search bar and bookmark are still the same. Addy bar and tab favicon show the new one
I prefer the old one too...
This new g doesn't signify anything, and yet could signify a dozen other things.... like gravity
or grass....(its the first 'g' word that popped into my head) ((and yes, i meant *lawn* not *weed*)just to clarify)

From what I can see (and I'm guessing), the new g is to promote the launch of the new Google Mini. You'll notice that the new g is the same as the 'little (or the second) g of "Google"

I don't know what happened to my message yesterday. I posted it once and it appeared twice. I deleted one and they both dissapeared...!

Yup, just checked again after making sure caches were cleared. Also tried with IE7, Opera and Firefox. G is still big. Even tried - google.com.au (on all three) and still the same big G. To be honest, I really don't care. The site belongs to Google, they can write it how they like.

Back to that Diego bloke. Most here have seen my views on the subject of art so I won't go into my art expert critique rant. The fact that I had no idea who the chap is, can't remember what the picture looked like and that I have no compunction to Google his name to find his other piccies should tell you that the piccy on google (with the big G - and it is still a big G) pressed none of my buttons. However you should have seem the look on Orams face has he was watching Martin coming in to bat on Sunday morning, now that was a picture that was worth millions in any currency...

Re: The head scratching. Oram was the last NZ batsman (worth talking about) left on the field. They were 270 odd for 9 when Martin (pundits say he is the worlds worst test batsman) walked on and Oram realised that there was no way they could survive...

I have the Gmail Labs-link too, but I can't acces the "v2.0 interface" (including new contacts manager) from school...
Now the Labs link is gone, and I still don't have it as an option
I swear Google hates me.... I was one of the last to get the newer version of Gmail too
Actually I only have the big G on my computers as well. That's IE6, IE7, and FF.
My theory is that you only see it if you have the Google toolbar enabled, as I don't have it on any of my comps.
