I recently drove down to Wisemen's Ferry. Excellent drive, tho the road was a bit bumpy....

On the way back, I recorded this:

'Great road. Just me, my baby, the curves and music. Driving doesn't get much better'

    2008-09-12 00:47:10.0

Also took some pics of the road lit only by my headlights.

    2008-09-12 00:47:54.0

    2008-09-12 01:19:27.0

    2008-09-12 01:20:23.0

    2008-09-12 01:25:23.0

    2 left?

    2008-09-12 01:25:34.0

Two kids left, eldest son died of brain tumor last October, aged 36..

    2008-09-12 01:27:34.0

    oh...wow. andro...i'm so sorry..

    i lost my step-mother to a brain tumor.....so i have a small clue.....

but that is nothing to losing a child.

i don't know what to say.....except that my heart is aching...

    2008-09-12 01:30:48.0

Thanks Bluegirl, It's very hard to lose a child, no matter how old they are.

    2008-09-12 01:35:31.0

    of course...

your child is your baby.....for always....

    2008-09-12 01:36:30.0

    2008-09-12 01:47:39.0

i have to ask....why were you filming your journey? is it so that when you get lost, you can rewind the footage and get back to your starting point?

    2008-09-12 08:46:59.0

those are some great pictures....those beams are kinda like the ones i imagine coming out of your eyes during a bout of computer rage...

    2008-09-12 08:47:51.0

LOL! Except the beams out of my eyes are RED

    2008-09-12 08:50:47.0

Why was I filming? I was tired, and excited and happy, and alone and exhilarated, and in my element...

Just wanted to capture it I guess

    2008-09-12 08:52:07.0

Oh wait... you were being funny....

    2008-09-12 08:55:19.0

    It's late here

    2008-09-12 08:56:15.0

it was a serious question.....but i can only do serious in short bouts....

    2008-09-12 09:21:43.0

Well in that case, I've answered itXP

    2008-09-12 09:22:37.0

Next time I'll keep the answer short... sowweee

    2008-09-12 09:22:59.0

To me, it just looks like any other road at night..... except I have no idea where you are!! I'm still not too greatly familiar with the whole area, I  know where the trains go, and that mostly about it... I have no idea as far as driving goes:)

    2008-09-12 10:50:27.0

It's about 1/1/2 out of Sydney. Looks like any other road cos the camera didn't pick much up.

It's funny how everything  is a blur when sighted through the lens, but the eyes can pick out the trees, stars etc..

Anyways, the drive there, in daylight was nice. It's a decline into a valley, and the views were stunning.

    2008-09-12 20:05:48.0

    Oooh... nice..:)

    2008-09-12 20:52:17.0

It's worth going there Morgan, if you ever have a weekend with nothing to do
