Ok, seriously though, I'm taking a bit of a break. It's been too long since my last one.

I'm off to Singapore in a few hours, to eat my heart out, and lose my senses at the first Formula One night race. W00T!

Oh, and to catch up with friends and family, whom I haven't seen in a very very long time.

(You can tell where my priorities lie)

I'll be checking in of course. Will miss everyone here too much otherwise

Gosh, I miss the food in Singapore

It's amazing how much one can get used to in 10 days...

LOL - O have to admit I was slightly disappointed when I first moved to syd - I was expecting it to be a bit new-york-ish where things are open 24 hours, and you can get anything you want at any time, and food from everywjere and lots of nice restaurants and funky take-away places, boy how wrong was I?? LOL

Yeah, totally wrong...

Having said that, it's much better now than it was 10 years ago - all shop would close promptly at 5, and the only 2 places to eat late was City Extra and Pancakes.Or petrol stations...

When the Maccers near UNSW extended their opening times till 12pm on weekends, we all jumped for joy, like it was the best thing after sliced bread

Much much better now. It's 7.40 pm, and I'm planning to head to Woolies later

OMG- - the woolies near my place closes at 4 on sundays and pub holidays. I forgot this until 3:40 this afternoon when i had to do a mad dash up there

I remember those days... when the nearest Coles was a bus ride and a hike away.

First late night Coles to open was at Broadway - 24 hours! A student's paradise!!
