ie music that stirs my soul (We'll leave the question as to if there is such a thing as a soul for another time)
For now, this:
One of the rare songs where every note, every word is just perfect.
I've listened to it sooo many times, yet I couldn't say what it means exactly... always get lost within it
(Can't remember if I've shared this one before, but it's well worth the reshare
)
Ooh, that's cool. I must share this with somebody, though, to see if they think it's as messed up as I do:
I like Damien Rice. Dek, I think we had a night a few months ago that we spent on youtube finding and posting videos, I'm sure it was there... somwhere maybe in this forum I dont know and cant quite be bothered to search for it, but yeah, its a great song..I can't get enough... Also I can't get enough of Jose Gonzalez tonight.. Have listened to the album "Veneer" over and over and over again.
Jose Gonzalez? Don't think I've heard him.
Will have to look it up!

Not heard of Jose??
how about Jose Jalapeno (on a stick)?
He demeans us all!
just had to look up Jose Jalapeno....but...hehehe...funny!
LOL! I had no idea who that was!
EEEEEKKKK!!!!
Gonzalez is the singer of the bravia ad song!!!!
I've been trying to find that song for ages!
Dek, I can send you the album if you like?
That's ok Morgan. I YouTubed it
Thanks!
Warning: People who like good music might not want to watch the following, based on high addiction rate. Also NSFW at some parts. (This is the one with the best sound quality that I've heard on YouTube)
Gotta love Tap Tap Revenge!
Or if you live anywhere that has one of those 'top40' or 'right-now-music' stations, tune in and you'll hear it at least four times in a day... gah, its whats stopped me listening to radio in sydney - all the radio stations (not just the types I mentioned) but yes all of them play the same stuff every day (every hour sometimes....) except for the ABC and BBC world news, I'm yet to find a station that I can listen to for longer than 24-hours and actually tolerate.
Synth is hell bent on ruining my good music topic![]()
Why yes, yes I am.
Wait, you don't like it?
It must be something like that crazy Twilight book. But then again, I'd guess that you've read it, no?

And I've actually never heard of that song before yesterday, Morgan. I guess it's an Aussie band or something?
To make it up, I'll post a video of an amazing basist. It's scary. I don't remember his name, though, but I'll find out by day's end.
The Offspring?? No Way....
You been living under a rock to not know who they are??
hi
how are you?
What sort of forum do you think this is, I mean really....
Grow up mate.
you can find the word 'ad' in his username 3 times!
haha.. clever synth..
mmm... that is nice.
Finally a fitting contribution![]()
Heh.
He has other equally if not better pieces on YouTube...
Ohh, and his name is Victor Wooten.
Cool. Thanks!
My first foray onto Tangler - awesome![]()
A good friend of mine from my school days is creating some cool hip-hop in and around Brighton (UK), but his younger brother is doing some incredible stuff now. You may well have heard of him already, but I thought I'd post up a clip of his live stuff, because the last clip by Synthuir reminded me of him - they have a similar approach to their guitars as a stringed percussion instrument. His name is Newton Faulkner and he rocks. I saw him in Sydney recently and he was amazing:
If you want to see him doing some totally impossible/amazing stuff on the guitar, this link is just crazy!!!

Him doing two pretty awesome covers too:

I like his voice!
And welcome to my slice of the Tangle Scotland!
Oooh... I love that second link. This guy is good!
ooh....the rhapsody is goooood....![]()
though i wouldn't have minded being able to hear the guitar a bit better...but..you gotta expect people to sing along to it...
i did!
i've been meaning the check out newton's album since....forever....but i keep forgetting....
thankfully, i have now been reminded again and am finding it rather good...
So you know of him? He's well-known over there?
which may be familiar if you've seen Sin City.
I've watched Sin City... I quite liked it
