This is it

ROFL!
niiice ![]()
hahaha-eeek! (i wasn't laughing at you...honest!!)
so...this little bit stabbity....does that mean you only stab everyone once, or you only stab every other person??
*strategically places morgan between himself and dek*

I like this shirt better ![]()
It shows what happens if you play Pacman to level 256 - the level counter runs out of digits (you can store 0-255 in one byte of binary) but tries to write the full level number into an adjacent section of memory, resulting in a mess of random sprites where half of the screen ought to be. Also the score at the top is the highest possible score - what you'd get for eating every dot, every ghost and every fruit for 255 levels straight. (A score which has, incidentally, been achieved by a guy who also holds the world record for highest score on Donkey Kong). Plus it's been on The IT Crowd.
ummm.... what was that image you put up Mr Dent?
Ooooh... never saw that Davinci one before. That's cool!
Meanwhile, it is a secret ambition of mine to own every shirt Roy wears on that show
I'm a step down that road... these are the 2 shirts I just ordered from the internetz.
Oh nice!!
I'd better get started then
Also on my list of t-shirts to get are... well basically anything from the xkcd store, but especially the "Stand back, I'm going to try Science" and "Science. It works, bitches" ones. Maybe also the one with a "No raptors" symbol.
Oh yes! I forgot abt those!!
Thanks for the reminder![]()
Was it really created by DaVinci? or do I just have my "gullible hat" on again?
hahahahahahahaah
That'd be the gullible hat ![]()
It was the winner of a tshirt design contest looking for designs combining video game stuff with the style of famous artists.
Aha...
Another one of the winners was Escher-tetris (aka "Some game involving falling blocks in the style of MC Escher", to avoid using the Tetris name ... the Da Vinci one was "To the top in the style of Da Vinci")

I like that!![]()
Unfortunately that one's sold out - they only keep about 27 items on backorder because they have a new design available each day.
At the beginning of each week they cull the 7 lowest sellers from the previous week (although the current week's shirts get free passage through the first 'Reckoning') So the number available fluctuates between 27 and 34.
wow... talk abt high turnover
Yeah.. the crazy part is how long some shirts manage to survive the process - "The cake is a liar" just keeps coming back... been there for months now
That one's cute
Meanwhile, I finally uploaded the cute shirts I saw at the Suan-Lum Bazaar in Bangkok![]()

hehehe...
i like the teamwork..
Ooh those are great!
hehe yeah...
There were SOOOO many excellent ones. Wish I'd taken more pics
But I was scared the stall holders would get pissy
Ooh there's a clock shop in Berry that I took some pictures of, you must absolutely go there if you can. They have a whole wall full of cuckoo clocks but not in that annoying way where they all go off at once and give you a headache. They're all handmade too. I'll post a couple of pictures next week when I get my photos back.
Oh, if you go to my Flickr account, you'll see some of the other really cool stuff they had - http://www.flickr.com/photos/dekrazee1/
And can't wait for your pics! I lurrrrrve cuckoo clocks!
i want a tin can tuk tuk....
Ooh the clock shop had those too!! And all sorts of things made out of twisted bits of metal!!
ummm.... twisted bits of metal...
A friend of mine got me a lovely keychain made with the head of a fork bent around a 'crystal' ball. I love it!
The other thing I really wanna acquire is this -

Would fit in perfectly at my front door![]()
ooooh....something else to add to the list of things i want but aren't likely to get....
...why do you keep showing me things i can't have....why?......WHY??
Cos those are the same things I'll never have![]()
I mean, there's nothing I'd rather than that hanging skeleton, but it costs something like $200-$300 dollars. No way am I paying that!
That same shop had these cool sculptures made with engine bits, like gears etc. Once again, something I really really want, because it's like one we have in the Singapore house...
These were between $500 - $1000.![]()
My first awesome-shirt has arrived! (the Da Vinci one) ![]()
Oh cool!!
My two most awesome tshirts would have to be my BSOD shirt, and my Tangler shirt... both on equal par with each other![]()
![]()
Sorry... I was obligated to add it to the best t-shirt list ![]()
I be say i be PROUD OWNER of a Tangler t-shirt ![]()
Oh bloody hell! Thanks for reminding me!
I meant to order more while I was here! (save on delivery cost)
Anyone wants to add to my order? I can bring it all back with me
I be say I also is PROUD OWNER... (Although getting smelly from never taking off)
hahahahahah
Least mine gets a wash... which is why it's looking a bit old![]()
yeah... time for a reprint?? or even better a 2009 competition for a new design?
Won't have time. Only here for another 3 weeks![]()
We can have one later
?? only here for 3 weeks?
Oh, sorry mate... in SF. See Dek in SF topic![]()
pseudyx, you've been gone so long!
eggactly...
oh.. but its not like we have to do it now... I think its 2009 all year this year... not sure will have to check the calendar.
But anyway... great marketing and good way to get people involved (because the first one was fun having every ones submissions and comments.
No no, I agree.
What I was saying is that I'm here and will be ordering some more shirts for myself, so if anyone wants in on the order, drop me an email with details
oh I C... and I read your Dek in SF (which I though neant Dek in Sci-Fi before reading it)... but all I got from it was you are in Burlingame, with free wifi, drinking coffie and making fun pics wit hthe laptop.
Oh hahahaha yeah...
I'd send you to the topic Impending Announcement, but it's mainly discussion about songs with California in them![]()
![]()
I'll read it anyway
hehehehe
I know I had a Tangler shirt... I remember it well.
The question is, where is it now?
I know you had one too... cos I sent it to you
WHERE IS IT???![]()
![]()
Well I can't go check right now, because I don't have a wardrobe yet and all my shirts are hanging in with my dad's stuff...
LOL!
That's more than I had imagined. Was thinking it'd all still be in boxes
We moved on Saturday, it just took until now to get the internet up...
Hey, that's still pretty fast.... I've known ppl here in Aust who've had to wait two weeks or more before they get it working upon moving
SK "The question is, where is it now?" - Its on your bedroom floor, in the right hand corner under last weeks underpants
Mmm.. I remember all that trouble I had before... and I didn't even move that far away!
ROFL @ pseudyx!
Best serving T-shirt still in circulation is the crappy blue bonds with this screened on it ...
Oh dear...
I would have to add that the gig the 'tides played at the Mansfield Tavern way back in '91 was one of the best nights ever. Beer stained carpet, bundy rum, good mates, a few brave girls ... gee I miss who I was then.
![]()
It's not all gone I don't think
I like who you are now... you wouldn't be able to tell all those wonderful tales if you weren't ![]()
My best mate was Timmy O'. He was a lunatic at times. That particular night Mark Callahan who sang and played rth guitar had had enough of us stage diving about half way through the set so he announced that there would be no more or else. Most of us were a bit sore anyway. Except Timmy O'. Seeing him climb up for one more dive and having what could only be described as a wrestle with a guitar laden Mark Callahan was a real pants pissing moment. I am laughing loud now just with the memory of it.
That I miss it is not to say I want to do it all again.
HAHAHAHAHAH
Damn, that sounds like a good night![]()
Ha. Yes. We were the business back then. Time for a new tides t-shirt I reckon. But fittingly with their other album cover ...
LOL!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're on u-tube!
Uh oh... we've lost Ruski now
That was at Easts Leagues Club. Never saw them there but saw Billy Bragg play there in 1987. I was 14 at the time. It was a life defining moment. I also got a Billy t-shirt from that night but it is long gone.
Ah yes, I know all abt you and Billy Bragg![]()
@dek: there is no force on Earth that can stand between a determined net-nerd and the internet for 2 whole weeks.
@pseudyx: If last weeks underpants were on the floor they'd be in a different house
@no-one in particular: I found my Tangler shirt, it was hiding in between my other shirts.
Woo hoo!!
And yes, there is a force....
In Australia, it's known as Telstra
![]()
<.<

LIES!!
Mais non!
Would I lie to you?!
You should hear some of the horror stories out there
I just like to yell stuff...
