I've been seeing billboards here (SF) with Transformers ads. They look soooooo good.

Is this going to be another Wolverine type scenario whereby you constantly go on about it for hundreds of days, and when it's release you're all.....yeah...whatever...i'll see it...later.

It's never yeah whatever....

I despise going to crowded theatres. It kills the experience for me. So I like to wait a week or two before I go.

Plus going to the movies alone in a crowd gets you weird looks

I remember seeing some thing somewhere that detailed how the script for Transformers 2 was ... kinduva rush job, possibly passed between several people, so it might suck a little.

On the other hand, wooooooooooooooooo, giant robots and explosions!!

Yes and no.

I loved the bits with the Transformers.... there just weren't enough of them.

Not enough bots, not enough transforming, not enough fighting.

Too much hoomans and stupid one liners and slapstick. Oh, and the faux drama! Geeeesus

Yeah... I saw a review panning it for the lack of roboting, too much of the silly human people we don't actually care about.

Apparently also too "Bay'ed up" 

I don't know what it means to be Bay-ed up....

But the lack of transformers was unforgivable. Feel like I didn't get my auto fix. Will have to watch the first one again.

How was the camping trip SK?

Looked like you had great weather, judging by the Wimbledon coverage.

Weather was a mix of too hot, and wet. Always either one or the other... although after a big load of rain midway through the week it became a lot less hot and much more pleasant.

I'm not a fan of the heat - anything above the low 20s and I get all tired and grumpy.

Mostly rained at night though... wasn't that bad, and we tried to ignore the heat as much as possible.

Did some good stuff, had some laughs. It was good.
