yeah, I lay around watching stuff till I fell back to sleep.... which was about 8 in the morning....

Well at least you won't be tired now, but your circadian clock is not yet fully ajusted and will take a day or so to do so...(but this you already know) 
I would say that it's not only jet lag that's affecting you but also the uncertainty and apprehension about your immediate future, (which a smart girl like you will easily overcome in a few days).
