Hey all, I was down at the point yesterday checkin out your comp. Great setup and some awesome talent.I have been involved in other boardriders for years and was wondering why you have the comp on saturdays??? Doesn't that fuck up all your 'Tradies'?? Or are you guys all white collar workers and dole-bludgers??? I didn't notice any groms around either, probably playing sports I guess. A word of warning, saturday comps can fuck up the balance. With the existing members getting older and no groms coming thru, the following occurs:

• older members will demand a 'MAL' division to stay competeitve  in the water
• retirement village buses will fuck up the car park and create general havoc
• competitors colostromy bags will become a real nuisance. They get caught around leggies, they don't float real well and when they burst, well, at least you will have the section to yourself
• the hot local groupie chicks will slowly be replaced by purple rinsed fat-arsed women struttin' their camel-toes. The upside is that their teeth come out on request
• walking frames are a bastard in the sand
• 18ths and 21sts will be replaced by 50ths and Wakes
• the 'cholesterol' oozing bbq will be replaced by a 'pill counter' offering anti-inflamatories, pain killers, angina and arthritis medication and of course Viagra, for the lucky old bloke that hooks up with a camel-toe

Anyway, you get my drift. A club can certainly survive and be competetive 'for the moment' but you should be considering the future of the club as well.

PS. It was great to see everybody cleaning up after themselves and putting their rubbish in that white ute with the ladders. The owner must be a real champ

PPS. Who was the guy all the younger guys were spraying with drinks and picking on??? I know he doesn't look normal but you should not harass spastics. It's not very nice!!!

At the moment, the first person to read your note tends to agree with some aspects, but sadly he's already been taking the cholesterol pills since he had that little heart attack ( sod you all who say he 's never had a heart anyway!!!)

IN another 30 years or so, some more people might work this out with the help of their grandkids and be able to make some input into the future of the club... but we're not holding our breath!
