Pearl Jam
Elliott Smith
Scott Weiland
They'd be my top 3
Barenaked Ladies, Flogging Molly, They Might Be Giants
They Might Be Giants ... "I said if I was smart that I would save up for a piece of string and a rock to wind the string around" ... Brilliant!
At the moment for me ...
Darren Hanlon ... "What chicken laid the egg from whence inside an idea hatches, from prototype to production line to the first 100 batches"
The Beatles, The Smiths, The Decemberists, Radiohead, Travis, Bloc Party, Elliott Smith, Elvis Costello, Bjork, etc
I'm really liking All Time Low right now. My top 3 all time favorites would have to be Bloc Party, Brand New, and Fall Out Boy. Although I think the new albums from Bloc Party and Brand New are good, but slightly dissapointing when compared with their respective previous albums.
The Dismemberment Plan, Pinback, Fugazi. Modest Mouse used to be my favorite band, but their latest CD (We Were Dead...) has me really disappointed.
Radiohead, The Faint and Cursive are probably near the top of the list, too. Maybe add a dash of King Crimson for good measure.
From the artists already mentioned, I have to agree with Elvis Costello, The Smiths, and Fugazi.
Additionally, I really like Daniel Amos (or any other group Terry Taylor is involved in), Sufjan Stevens, The Arcade Fire, The Beach Boys/Brian Wilson, & Dire Straits
