If Battlestar Galactica was releasing as a MMO and was more in-depth than Eve past skills more detailed to repairs and roles as far as fighter commander etc etc would you leave Eve behind? and devote your time to BSG?

It would be interesting to get in on the beginning of something like Eve - I've always wished I was in Eve at the start.

While I agree with Gaius, I think an MMO based on a finite universe like BSG, Star Trek, etc. would be limited in what could be introduced.

yea i dunno has a great storyline and base for a mmo

yeah, but the storyline is fixed and so are the main characters in it.

In eve the players make the storyline.

More in-depth then EvE?

im looking forward to the release of age and conan as well as warhammer age of reckoning but i don't have much hope.  I love eve because of the sandbox that it is and like gaius wish that i was here when the servers went live

yea i'm looking foward to Age of Conan also seeing that I dont pay for eve I can do both just dont feel like power  grind i'm lazy because of eve

Don't forget the rule of thumb that any game made from a movie or vice versa has always sucked big time.

so your saying if CCP made a EVE movie it would suck thats blasphemy  boy, A great movie Indiana Jones and made it a game on NES and it was a hit i still play it now, Star Wars MMO sucked ass yes but most of there other games are ok. Robocop if your semi-retarted this game can still be fun to you on the NES personally i never brought the game back to blockbuster. Xmen comon great movies from a cartoon show, Super-man, Spider-Man on and on I can keep going........

I don't think they should make a movie of EVE to tie all the story line together... but a movie about the beginning of eve (read the story line), and I think once they release the walking in stations ability, then you will start to see lots of little short chronicle movies in the eve universe pop up.

yea if they made a movie like that i'd love for my char to be a cameo
