How often do you change your profile picture?
I have noticed a trend lately on facebook with some of my friends:
1. They never ever change their profile picture since the first time they started their profile
2 or they change it almost everyday!
So how often do you change your profile picture and why?

Okay I have noticed this happening to me, but do you find that people stock you on facebook? I put up a message in the Karen is part like "out on the town" and I get messages from people saying where are you going, what are you doing? I write on someones wall, and someone says oh that was really funny what you wrote on so and so's wall. It is getting kind of creepy and well annoying that I now hide all my activity and rarely put a message up about me.
Can anyone else relate?

I kind of agree with the article because personally I find myself "just" checking Facebook and a hour will go by like nothing! So it kind of sucks you in and you lose track of what you are doing, but I wouldn't blame it just on facebook, blame it on the internet in general and the companies giving their workers access to it.

Facebook/MySpace vs Social networking down t'pub.
True it is better to meet people at the pub and whatnot, but I use facebook not as a way to meet people but rather a way to keep up with current friends.

I started on Myspace, but never really got into it because it was hard to control who was looking at your account and I didn't like randoms talking to me. I like facebook because I have that control and it is a good way to keep up with friends. especially if you are traveling and want to share pictures easily.

there is also this thing called Friend Grid that pops up a grid of your friends pictures but there is no name next to them.

yeah I'll look at the news feed sometime and see a posting at a certain time and then look at it again a couple hours later and it has a completely different time that the same thing was posted
