Okay I have noticed this happening to me, but do you find that people stock you on facebook?  I put up a message in the Karen is part like "out on the town"  and I get messages from people saying where are you going, what are you doing?  I write on someones wall, and someone says oh that was really funny what you wrote on so and so's wall.  It is getting kind of creepy and well annoying that I now hide all my activity and rarely put a message up about me. 

Can anyone else relate?

Do you know the people who are apparently stalking you? If you are not a good acquaintance with them, why are you in communication with them? (If not through your page, I would guess they are friends with someone you know?) In any case, if it irritates you prevent them from communication with you, especially if you don't know the person.

well they started out friends and then it got weird if you know what I mean.....  is there a way to remove friends?

You can remove your own friends, just go to the friends list and click remove.
