  Woolies or Coles?

  There is a Macro in Bondi Junction - on the bit of Oxford St just past the bus depot and Centennial Park and opposite Nelson St. Whole Wallet // Whole Pay Packet is a joy to behold in the US. I'd happily live in one 24/7.

  Woolworths is defintely superior to Coles but frankly still absolute rubboish compared to say a Tesco in Britain. There, you get decent lighting, layout, great compelling smells for bread or whatever, incredible selection of food fresh or packaged; great range or organic AND if they stock an item THEY STOCK IT. What is this nonesense in OZ where with a computerized inventory they can run out of non-perishable basics such as a brand of loo paper, washing powder, cereal, soy, you name it. The mamangement get heralded as great biz people. They're hopeless. EXTRAORDINARY.
