    It's on next Sunday. 27th May 2007.

    2007-05-21 22:17:30.0

    I know!! I can't wait!!XP

Meanwhile, there are reports that it'll rain on the weekend, which might make for a very very interesting race on that circuit!

    2007-05-22 00:19:53.0

when last have we had a rainy monaco? hmmm! i'll be at a funeral with the in laws.... will have to download the race later:(

    2007-05-22 19:10:11.0

I remember a rainy monaco a few years back.... lots of funny crashes

    2007-05-22 19:13:05.0

Wasn't rainy as much as drizzly

    2007-05-22 19:13:16.0

Speed TV (via an F1 fan friend of mine) said that during practice they were shifting 57 times per lap.  So, if you add the rain into that, could make for an interesting race.:x

    2007-05-24 22:09:54.0

As promised, here are some pics of Monaco....

    2007-05-24 22:33:23.0

You know, when Ferrari and Kimi did the deal, I don't believe either thought about how bad he'd look in the Ferrari red.....

    Honestly

    2007-05-24 22:39:49.0

    LOL

    2007-05-24 22:41:00.0

Yeah, well I don't think that red really suits fair (haired and skinned) people.

Meanwhile here are some more pics from Monte Carlo......

That's all the pics for the moment.

    2007-05-24 23:02:27.0

    Ok, so it's on Ch10 (Brisbane/Sydney) at 11.10 pm AEST Sunday .

If anyones interested, qualifying will be telecast from the same Channel at 12.00 midnight, on Sat night.   (Don't think I will bother, and will save my energy for the race).

    2007-05-24 23:35:45.0

Woo hoo! Good thing you reminded me abt quali andro

    2007-05-24 23:58:07.0

It doesn't say if its because it was raining

    2007-05-25 00:14:11.0

QUali tomorrow, can't wait... wonder hwo's gonna overtake this year again heh?

    2007-05-25 05:46:24.0

LOL Andro, I am interested in it so much as this town is CRAWLING with people this week, the news is all about the track, I am having to deal with out of town media outlets that use my company for internet access while reporting on the race... And that by the time I get back to town on Monday evening.. They will all be GONE!

HEHE.. For me, this week is more stress than pleasure... It is the biggest event in our city.. and the start of "tourist" season;)

    2007-05-25 09:55:12.0

    I'd imagine so.....

    The buzz must be electrifying!

    2007-05-25 19:32:07.0

    And the weather????.........

Saturday, qualifying day, will be a little warmer at 23 degrees, and there is now a slightly smaller chance (40 percent rather than 60) of showers. However, there is now an 80 percent chance of light rain on race day.

    2007-05-25 20:51:38.0

Of course there is/was no practice on Friday, as it is deemed to be a day of rest (from F1) for the citizens of Monte Carlo, to allow them to go about their business.

So the next practice will be Sat at 1100-1200 (local time), with Qualifying beginning at 1400 (local time).

Nice to see Fisi up there.... even tho it means that he'll just hold up everyone behind him once the race starts...

Great effort by the BMW team  - they're becoming real contenders

    2007-05-26 22:04:24.0

    yeah poor Kimi!!

He just nudged the barrier, but it was enough to break his steering.

Poor old Dc was out of luck also after being penalised for blocking Kovalinen.

    2007-05-26 22:04:40.0

Yeah, well, he was being naughty....

    2007-05-26 22:04:57.0

Hey, there's something off with your list andro.... kimi appears twice

    2007-05-26 22:05:22.0

    Yeah, you're right!!!!!!!^_^'

    Blame Planet F1 for that...:-!

    2007-05-26 22:08:27.0

       :-!

    2007-05-26 22:08:45.0

    hahahhaha

No worries.... I thought that might be the case

    :)

    2007-05-26 22:08:58.0

Ok, so I'm sure we all know who won by now....

The race was a bit boring I thought - granted, I was distracted and not paying full attention....

I love seeing Alonso's and Hamilton's driving styles on this track tho! They way they throw their cars around.... it's just  mesmerising!

    2007-05-27 18:21:50.0

Alonso finally stopped looking like he has just been tolerating Hamilton's presence....
I get the feeling the feeling he doesn't like having a challenging teammate. Then again, he's probably not used to it:P

    2007-05-27 18:23:39.0

And I also have a new theory - in order to do well in F1, you need to go get a sponsor with a red logo/colour scheme....

    That's the key!

    2007-05-27 18:24:18.0

You're right $deezee$, that was one of the most boring F1 races I have seen, It was just a procession, and I was having trouble staying awake.

    2007-05-27 20:47:19.0

    Yeah..... where's the competition?!?!?!>:-O

I was surprised the Ferraris were so off the pace

    2007-05-27 20:55:20.0

I reckon Alonso will only be happy with Hamilton as long as Alonso's in the lead. Like now they are on equal points in the driver's championship right?

    2007-05-27 20:58:01.0

I was also surprised at the lack of pace of the Ferrari's, I don't know what has gone wrong there. (I think they need Ross Brawn back fast)

Yes aman, Alonzo gets quite jealous if someone threatens his No1 position.
I'll bet Hamilton gets little assistance from him!

    2007-05-27 21:08:49.0

Not that Hamilton needs any assistance!:P

    2007-05-27 21:13:53.0

And yeah, the Ferraris were amazingly slow

    2007-05-27 21:14:19.0

    Whoooops.....

    McLaren under investigation

The dominant performance of the Mclaren-Mercedes team is suddenly under a cloud following an FIA announcement, this morning, that accusations of ‘team orders’ will be officially investigated.

The British press have rounded on Mclaren supremo Ron Dennis today following comments made yesterday that implied
Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton had been told to hold station at some point in the race.

    The FIA statement read:
"The FIA has launched an investigation into incidents involving the
McLaren Mercedes team at the 2007 Monaco Grand Prix in light of a possible breach of the International Sporting Code. The relevant evidence is under review and a further announcement will be made in due course."

    2007-05-28 18:48:07.0

That's disgraceful, you would never catch Ferrari doing a thing liken that.o:-\

    2007-05-28 20:56:05.0

    hahahahahahaha

Esp since the rule came into effect because of them!!

    2007-05-28 21:18:49.0

    Nah, that's just va rumour.;)

    2007-05-28 21:22:00.0

Yeah.... cos no one saw Barichello slow down;)

    2007-05-28 21:25:55.0

Yeah, and no one noticed that Lewis gave up the chase on Sun either.;)

    2007-05-28 21:40:20.0

Oh c'mon..... it wasn't as obvious!!

    2007-05-28 21:47:13.0

    The commentators mentioned it...

    2007-05-28 21:52:06.0

That's their job, to make something of nothing
    :P

    2007-05-28 22:09:09.0

I hope you are not casting nasturtions on Martin Brundle, James Allen, Murray Walker, and their ilk. :O

    2007-05-28 23:44:32.0

    We finally agree on something!

    2007-05-28 23:46:12.0

    Gosh i hope so.....

    2007-05-29 22:04:45.0

It was rather boring, I was disappointed at Kimi, he's looking very much to be #2 driver at the moment. I love Massa at the moment, he's earnest and doing his best.

    2007-05-30 09:48:57.0

Wonder how much Ron had to pay for thet verdict???

    2007-05-30 21:52:10.0
