It's not on this weekend. ![]()
It's on the following weekend, 24-26 August.
That's right folks, we have to wait three weeks between races this time.
GAAAAH!
I was beginning to look forward to this weekend![]()
So was I, I was about to post about it when I noticed that it wasn't on till the following wekend.
hahahahaha
*sigh*
haha, Usually the Turkish GP is a bit more exciting that usual.
hehehe true....
Looking forward to it as usual!
I'll bet the Turkish officials will be more careful with their speeches introducing official guests this year. ![]()
Hah! For sure
I could so do with an F1 race thi weekend!![]()
yeah, me too. Not much happening here at the moment.
Just realised that MotoGP is on tonight.... fine, I'll take that thankyouberrymuch
Casey Stoner has pole position as well. ![]()
Oh yeah? Excellent!
I love it when Rossi is on the back foot. Always leads to exciting races![]()
Yeah, Rossi has been a bit off the pace this year, and Stoner has been brilliant.
for sure.... is it too early to say he'll win the big one?
Stoner, who is seeking his seventh win this season, leads overall with 221 points after 11 MotoGP races. Valentino Rossi of Italy, who was sixth quickest Saturday, is second on 177, ahead of Pedrosa with 155.
Rossi, a five-time world champion, admits he faces a difficult task in overhauling Stoner's commanding lead over the final seven races.
Stoner's Honda rivals, defending world champion Nicky Hayden and Dani Pedrosa, have already conceded the title chase to the young Australian.
Now it is only Rossi, always at his most dangerous when cornered, with a real chance of stopping Stoner.
He's in the box seat and looking good. (fingers crossed).
Good stuff!
Rossi has got a bike that isn't anywhere as fast as stoner's, that yamaha is useless on the straight! I hope the race is exciting, and it's constantly plain to see that Rossi is the most talented rider (He's been doing things, coming from the back like nothing I've EVER seen before), yet Rossi isn't leading the championship.
Weird.
Well, stoner has done very well under pressure....
No doubting Rossi's talent and skill, but even the best riders can't do more than their machine allows
GAAAAH!!!!!!
Was browsing my RSS feeds and came across who wins.... damn the internet!
Good on Stoner, he started on pole and was never headed.
They said that as he is now over 50 points in the lead, he could sit out two Moto GP's and still be in the lead over Rossi.
Yeah, he's 60 in the lead I think
Excellent position to be in!
Turkish GP telecast is on Ch10 at 10-40pm on Sunday 26th August. (in Aust)
Although the way Ch10 carry on it will probably be closer to 11pm. ![]()
Will try to post some pictures of Istanbul. (if I can find any).
YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY
Finally.... feels like the last race was ages ago....
Can't wait!
Sebastian Vettel. (in case you don't know)

Alonzo in Arrows shirt. (maybe that's who is buying Spyker and where Alonzo is going)?

Red Bull girls.

Kimi and pal.

Bobert Kubica's BMW.

More Bull.

No oil in Kimi's car.

I'd never seen Vettel before! He looks very young!
Yeah, well he just turned 20 in July.
Oh wow! So young
It's getting close now........
In the pits at Istanbul Park.

What's that? (sorry cant hear you)!

Ralf looking over his shoulder. (with good reason I think)

Isn't it beautiful??

Hmmmm.... I've missed the whole day's news... anyone know what happened in the practice sessions?
Just watched quali.... Can't believe Kimi didn't get pole!! (Or even 2nd for that matter..)
Sigh
Yeah I watched it too $deezee$, poor old Kimi, he was going well untill he ran wide off one of the corners, (the penultimate one) but still put in a fast time, but not quite quick enough. ![]()
At least Alonzo's gamble with the hard compound tyres backfired on him.
With a relatively short opening burst to Turn 1 there may not be the chance to swap positions off the line, but with overtaking opportunities all round the lap it should be a fantastic opening tour. Kimi still has a great opportunity to win the race, even from P3.
Just a reminder of the final times and grid positions.........

Yeah, hopefully it works out for Kimi.... He needs this win!
Wow.... looks like the Renaults are coming good bit by bit...
And excellent effort by Davidson!![]()
Ferrari 1 & 2, that's what we like to see, although it would have been nice to see Kimi win.
At least Alfonzo didn't win it, and wouldnt even have been on the podium if Hamilton hadn't blown a tyre.
Ah.... so Alonso came in 3rd eh?
Cool.... Yeah, shame for Lewis, but I didn't feel too sorry for him, given that he's been on the podium in every race![]()
I can't take the fact that Kimi was slower than Massa.... ![]()
He thinks Alonso will win the Championship
hahaha, great headline about the Turkey stuffing. ![]()
So Heikki thinks that Alonzo san win it does he? Last friday Bernie Ecclestone said the same thing, but I hope that they're both wrong, as I don't believe that F1 needs a champion who is such a whinger and who exhibits such downright bad sportsmanship.
Sending ...
