    WHEEEEeeeee!!!!XP

    2009-07-21 22:57:30.0

    Poor Webby will be having an operation on his leg after this race.

    2009-07-21 22:58:32.0

    Oh yes, he's having the pin removed or something, but he said he will only be out of action for a few days, if I remember correctly..

    2009-07-21 23:01:35.0

    Ah , that throws new light on the situation....

    2009-07-21 23:09:20.0

    He's been in pain all this time. Can't remember who it was being interviewed, another driver, and they were saying you can see him limping around after races

    2009-07-21 23:10:03.0

    Did you notice the big box thingy Webby had on his leg when he got out of the car at the Nurburgring?

    2009-07-21 23:21:53.0

    Have no recollection of it whatsoever

    2009-07-21 23:25:26.0

    Yeah it seemed to be squarish, I imagine it was some sort of support or protection...maybe it was made out of stryofoam or something like that... The camera's didn't stay on it for long, but it was fairly obvious when he first got out of the car...

    2009-07-21 23:29:05.0

    Oh silly me!

    I have the race on my comp!!

    2009-07-21 23:30:20.0

    Hang on, I'll look it up now

    2009-07-21 23:30:24.0

    Oh yes!! It's like a knee guard, but stuffed with something

    2009-07-21 23:32:44.0

    I must have another look at it, but I noticed it at the time...It's an odd looking thing...

    2009-07-21 23:34:42.0

    Yeah that's it, weird isn't it?

    2009-07-21 23:37:07.0

    Look like it buffers the knee from hitting the steering wheel? Or his other knee?

    2009-07-21 23:38:25.0

    Yeah, never seen one like that before..

    2009-07-21 23:39:39.0

    2009-07-24 04:55:45.0

    Some drivers are saying that new Toro Rosso driver 'Jaime Alguersuari' (who replaces Sebastian Bourdais) is too young to be driving in F1.

    If you are wondering how to pronounce his name, I am reliably informed that it is pronounced 'Heimi Al-gay-shuari'. (you guessed it, another Spaniard)Wink

    He will be just 19 years and 125 days old when he start's in the Hungarian GP this weekend and had only ever driven an F1 car in a straight line before tonight's P1, where he was(understandably) last..

    Well I say good luck to him and I hope he doesn't injure himself..

    Read more about it here..

    2009-07-24 06:15:08.0

    Hmmm... that's a risky move. Surely he can't out-perform Bourdais:-/

    2009-07-24 09:04:11.0

    Oh, and if only Kimi was dreaming about Deezee;)

    Some good shots there andro. Thanks!

    2009-07-24 09:04:35.0

    Both McLarens doing well in first free practice...they and Ferrari are the only ones with KERS

    2009-07-24 09:08:38.0

    How's Ferrari doing?

    2009-07-24 09:12:23.0

    And Red Bull and Brawn?

    2009-07-24 09:12:30.0

    Ferrari reporting perfect set-ups and both had perfect uninpeded laps every time could only manage P7 and P8

    Red Bull P4 and P15

    Brawn P10 and P13

    2009-07-24 09:22:07.0

    New boy last in P20

    2009-07-24 09:23:14.0

    This time tomorrow we'll know who's bluffing and who's serious.

    Massa appeared slow all night, Shamilton was going from fastest to almost slowest and then back again..

    Kovalainen was generally at or near the top all night, Red Bulls are fairly constant,and look like winners if they can get rid of Kovalainen..

    2009-07-24 09:45:56.0

    But as previously mentioned this is just practice, the serious stuff happens at 10.00pm tomorrow..

    2009-07-24 09:47:40.0

    :O Surprised at the Brawns

    2009-07-24 10:20:08.0

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Second Free Practice ended with McLarens P1 and P2; Ferrari P11 and P18; Braun P7 and P13; Red Bull P4 and P6; Williams P3 and P5...as andro said, there is a lot of bluffing and experimenting at this stage...
    HmmmmSurprised
    Nah, still blame the FIA....If you're developing a car and are not allowed to test it, then how the bloody hell do you know how individual parts will behave under race conditions... They've got to stop this (no testing) lunacy before someone gets killed and we all know that that nearly happened yesterday.. Also the scrutineers who approved the faulty Brawn suspension have a case to answer, in my book...
    2009-07-26 07:11:33.0
    So too do the Brawn engineers and mechanics responsible for the relevant part of the car..
    I seriously hope that (whatever part of the mechanism it was that failed), it will be subjected to intense metallurgical scrutiny....This sort of thing shouldn't occur, it's bullshit...Yell
    2009-07-26 09:56:19.0
    you mean the miserable pofaced prick is mumbling...
    2009-07-26 10:00:29.0
    Oh look at his pretty curly locks
    XP
    2009-07-26 10:00:51.0
    yes, he is a bit effeminate
    2009-07-26 10:02:49.0
    pffft
    Good thing no one goes by your definition of a man
    :P
    2009-07-26 10:03:45.0
    OH PHEW!! I was so worried for Kimi
    2009-07-26 21:49:28.0
    What the hell?? That's a bit ridiculous re Renault....
    How can they say 'knowingly released'?
    I do think it was dangerous, and that Alonso should have pulled over when the cap came off though
    2009-07-26 21:50:49.0
    Well I guess the renault losing a wheel did contravene the regs, but if that is the case, can anyone tell me what action is/has been talen over the Brawn/Barrichello car with bits flying off it that nearly killed poor Filipe..
    If the Renault wheel wad deemed to be not secured, then surely the Brawn suspension spring was not secured either and they should be penalised the same as Renault..
    As usual, a Ferrari driver gets away with it, unlike our Webby last time...
    Hahaha heller, is this the same Webby that you have been putting shit on for years..Laughing
    2009-07-27 03:51:53.0
    The very same Wink
    2009-07-27 04:15:25.0
    Least Webby came out with a win for it....
    Alonso lost this race, and the next!:O
    2009-07-27 04:20:10.0
    I think that in light of the missile that Brawn got away with releasing, Fandango Alphonzo and Renault are entitled to consider themselves very hard done by indeed..
    2009-07-27 06:13:58.0
    What did Brawn release?
    2009-07-27 06:28:51.0
    The lump of spring steel that hit Massa in the head..
    2009-07-27 06:34:45.0
    Couldn't that have been a failure?
    2009-07-27 06:36:24.0
    Yes, like Renault failed to secure Alphonzo's wheel..
    2009-07-27 06:43:51.0
    Barrichello hadn't been in a prang, so bits shouldn't just fly off a car during practice.
    2009-07-27 06:46:44.0
    Sure, but if it was broken before, then one would imagine that the car wouldn't have been working fine?
    2009-07-27 07:01:00.0
    If it was broken before then (as previously mentioned) either the scrutineers or his mechanics should have picked it up..
    2009-07-27 07:08:30.0
    It's what they're paid for..
    2009-07-27 07:09:06.0
    That's what I mean. Doubt they would have sent him out if they knew it was broken... it was for quali after all.
    2009-07-27 07:49:59.0
    So it must have broken
    2009-07-27 07:50:13.0
    So it was faulty and they didn't pick it up? (very poor)..
    2009-07-27 08:10:00.0
    I mean, they're not old enough to suffer from metal fatigue are they?..
    2009-07-27 08:15:00.0
    Shit happens
    2009-07-27 08:16:15.0
    If that many people looked at it, and didn't pick it up, it could have failed later.
    2009-07-27 08:16:54.0
    Or the people who looked at it are either incompetent, or have been told to cut corners..(it happens)
    I have no faith whatsoever in the FIA scrutineers any more, all they are these days is measurers, to ensure that Max's latest dreams are being adhered to..
    2009-07-27 08:28:02.0
    Sure. But back to the original point - makes no sense to penalise Brawn for that
    2009-07-27 08:29:00.0
    Why not, their faulty car almost killed another driver..
    It caused more damage than Alphonzo's wheel coming off. (which was also a mistake)
    2009-07-27 08:35:45.0
    Keep it simple...It's probably the FIA getting back at Flavio Briatore for his FOTA stance. If Fernandago's wheel had not come loose they would probably have loosed their vengeance on Ferrari (Kimi), but they will get it before long, for sure...
    2009-07-27 09:23:40.0
    No, the simple answer is that BrawnGP (despite the fact that they are running a Jap car) are a Pommy team and as such are protected by the likes of Bernie and Max). This is why they were given a flying start to the season with their 'double decker diffuser' which all reasonable and intelligent people realise was against the then FIA rules and regs.
    It's probably the FIA (Bernie&Max) getting back at Flavio Briatore for his FOTA stance.
    2009-07-28 00:33:11.0
    That would be a real pity for Massa and Ferrari and I hope he hasn't sustained any permanent damage..
    2009-07-28 01:15:34.0
    Yeah, hope so too
    2009-07-28 01:18:59.0
    From the FIA.....
    "The FIA Safety Commission, which is made up of medical and technical representatives from all areas of motor sport, will submit its report and recommendations to the World Motor Sport Council.
    "Preliminary findings suggest the helmet being used by Felipe Massa may have played a significant role in limiting the injuries sustained.
    No Shit, see how clever these FIA guys are?Surprised
    2009-07-29 07:27:52.0
    ROFL!!!
    Genius!
    2009-07-29 07:36:30.0
    The drivers' messages to Massa. Some are quite funny. And what is Webby on?!
    2009-08-14 02:58:14.0
    Hahaha, quite good, deezee...
    It's a pity that Rubens and Fandango were pissed though.. (I couldn't understand a word they said)Surprised
                                       Tongue out
    2009-08-14 03:41:55.0
    Nico and Kubica were impressive though!
    2009-08-14 06:16:38.0
    Kimi Poface was rubbish...as usual
    2009-08-14 09:11:46.0
    Oh Kimi and his beautiful hair
    2009-08-14 09:20:59.0
    Whilst on the subject of bits flying off cars and injuring or killing people, as witnessed in the case of Filipe's injury and the recent death of Henry Surtees, it is interesting to look at this video of the crash of Kimi Raikkonen and Jean Alesi at the 2001 Japanese GP....Watch how close some of the other cars come to being hit by flying wheels and other debris..(it's so close it's scary)..
    2009-08-15 01:43:05.0
    Geez... that's a terrible crash! Goodness
    2009-08-15 02:01:41.0
    And yeah, could've been so much worse
    2009-08-15 02:02:00.0
    That Raikkonen has been an absolute menace for a decade now...
    2009-08-15 02:28:58.0
    Yes, he's only won one world championship in the last two years....Tongue out
    2009-08-15 02:36:20.0
    ...and that was really by default...no way did he deserve it...
    2009-08-15 02:50:28.0
    Kimi be da man..Tongue out
