Stoooooopid Ch 10.... &*%%&(*$#@@
Ok, I'm done....
Can't wait for the race
calm down,lol
10:30 isn't too bad, earlier then Malaysian GP
Still..... (I know I've said it before) I can't believe we have to wait for seach for pussycat doll to finish....
Honestly, Which is more important??
And that show is on the wrong time slot anyways
Yes it is, and Malaysia is only 2hrs behind us, and Bahrain is 7hrs behind
That pussycat doll show was/is crap.
Still..... (I know I've said it before) I can't believe we have to wait for seach for pussycat doll to finish....
hahahaha
*sigh*
That show is a masterpiece
HELP!!!
hahaha
couldn't you hear the sarcasm in my voice? lol
errrrm.... can't hear anything
heheheh
lol
Ferrari have performed decently here, you're thoughts? I've got a feeling Kimi and Alonso are gonna be fighting, Massa taking a distant third.
No idea.... I still don't have a feel for the teams and their performance - too soon in the season
Will have to wait and see after Fri prac
Yeah, Alonso and Kimi will fight it off. But Filipe will push them and maybe even Hamilton?
Since Ferrari were struggling at Sepang, I don't see them being able to compete with McLaren at Bahrain.... the conditions are similar... hotter in Bahrain
1) Ferrari had to change their floor. (whish affected aero's, and straight lone speed)
2) Kimi was using an engine that had overheated at Sepang, and had to nurse it somewhat.
3) I will be extremely surprised if Ferrari are not very much improved this weekend.
I wouldn't be....
I just don't see how just changes to the floor would have slowed them down that much.
That's an aero change, not a mechanical one
And Kimi racing with a suspect engine???
Fair enough, but how would that explain Massa's pace?
Filipe had a brain explosion. (just a bad day).
a slow day....
Filipe was struggling, I think after trying to pass Hamilton twice and going off he lost it.
Yeah, I think he scared himself when he went off.
Yeah once you do it twice, your mind is not focused on getting back.
Plus he was slow
yep. I've got hopes for Kimi. He's got raw speed.
He da man!!!
$deezee's$ beloved Kimi.![]()
You got that right!
Took a while, buit here are some pics from Bahrain......

Must be hot.... rarely see them all 'dress down'
Yeah, there are lots of other pics, and in nearly all of them the crews are wearing shorts.
Kimi's wearing long shorts in that pic. (although you can't tell from that camera angle)
Kimi Raikkonen continued to lead the way in Bahrain, clocking the fastest time in Practice Two. The Ferrari driver, who set the pace in the day's opening session, continued his run of form to take the P1 slot on Friday afternoon ahead of Lewis Hamilton. Robert Kubica was third quickest. Times

woo hoo!!
So far, so good? (keep it up Kimi).
Looking ok...
what's up with Webby?!
And the renaults for that matter..... .man, they're slow
It appears that losing Alonzo has affected Renault more than thay care to admit. ![]()
It has to be more than that....
Something must have gone wrong in the development process
Yeah it is, I don't remember where I saw it but there was an article doing the rounds that claimed that Renault were history for 2007as their car was a dud.
I thought I had mentioned it here, but it could have been the Scuderia Forum.![]()
yeah, I remember seeing it too
also remember reading Flavio saying something like the difference in pace is so big it can't be chalked up to drivers
Serves FB right!! ![]()
Flavio is hated in Italy... he says his OWN driver is pathetic!!!
Hamilton is a future World Champion in my opinion. He's already equaled 2 records in 2 races.
Hamilton is definately promising... But right now, he has some real tough competition
At the moment, but he can handle it.
I think.
I'm not saying he can't....
Just saying that it's gonne be tough
Yeah. you're right.
He's proven very mature and he doesn't make stupid mistakes.
yet....
Only been two races
yeah, good point.

Come on 10.30pm..
Wow! both 'second' drivers beat the first drivers! nice.....
I'd love to see Hamilton kick Massa's behind into the first corner
kekeke!
Nice to see the BMWs are consistent this season
I don't think Massa will let it happen again. (at least not in this race)
Yeah, it is good to see BMW coming good at last.
hehehe We'll see now won't we? I just know Hamilton will have a go![]()
I think the Ferrari camp will have given Filipe some instruction on how to avoid a repeat of that. (at least they should have)![]()
Enjoy this race, as the next one is at Catalunya (Spain) on the 13th May.
That's four weeks without a race.
No way! Another month?!?!?!?
The schedule feels very weird this year
That's Bernie freaking Eccelstone for you.![]()
Sigh
Webby finished 8th!!! Least he was not out!!!
Huh??
He DNFed.... what race did you watch??
What a crazy race.... Everyone's pace was all over the place.... except for BMW
Bah..... cant believe Massa won....
Good effort from Lewis. I couldn't figure out what was going on with Kimi.
Best moment - watching Heidfeld overtake ALONSO
hahahahah
Well done Massa!!
As for Kimi I think he was away with the fairies, firstly he let Alonzo past him at the first corner, then he went to sleep behind the safety car, and missed the restart, and then he appeared unable to pass Alonzo even though he obviously had a faster car.
Well, he wasn't obviously faster in the first stint
I think Webby and DC, should stop smoking.![]()
ummmmm....... ![]()
Hey, did you notice that Ferrari had Marlboro advertising on their cars and clothes?
I thought it was banned?
Yes, I first noticed it in the pics of Bahrain I posted on Fri, I don't know what is going on there, other than the fact that Marlboro had a contract with Ferrari long before these rules came into being. (maybe they've been given a dispensation).
hmmmmmm
I seem to recall a conversation on the ScuderiaNet some time ago discussing the matter. They were saying that because Marlboro had the contract signed up for several years, that no one else would be allowed to advertise in that space.
Yeah, and that they were thinking of advertising their other non-tobacco products there....
That's right, $deezee$!!
Don't really know what happened after that.
Maybe they're only allowed to use it in certain countries??(will try to find out)
I won't be surprised if tobacco ads weren't banned in bahrain... but I was under the impression that FIA had banned it as well
I found this...............
Yeah, guys, i just read up on the whole Tobacco ban thing. Marlboro extended their deal with Ferrari until the end of 2011. In regards to Ferrari running the Marlboro space it's the fact that it's actually legal to do so outside of EU countries and any other country that doesn't have a ban on tobacco advertising.
The gray area of the matter is televising the races with Marlboro advertising inside the EU when F1 is racing a country where it's legal.
Regarding the FIA, I understand that they reached an agreement with the tobaco companies, that there would be no advertising beyond 2007.
I thought this ban only meant in EU countries?
Also, I think the other tobacco companies withdrew because they didn't see the point of paying so much money only for them to be seen in a couple or so races.
<!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_228876-->
And also I found this..................
So there you go, it's as clear as mud.![]()
<div>
</div>
What's with all the code when I C & P???
yeah.... they've changed somethings andro, and it screws up the formatting
I don't know the specifics
ahhhhhh then it all makes sense.... re the ads I mean
I don't know if it makes sense at all, there are so many conflicting stories around.
The stuff I Posted came from blogs and forums, and you know how reliable that can be?![]()
I guess we'll eventually hear from the FIA what the ruling is.
yeah
Concerning the passing: the Cars are so simliar. Theres a difference of about 10km/h between the fastest and slowest cars. When tucked up behind any car in the dirty air, you lose the aerodynamic shape, resulting in you losing your car being equal, or slightly faster than the car in front of you, resulting in you slowing down.
My favourite part of the race was Heidfeld overtaking Alonso. Pure class.
Hamilton also sets a record, future WC in my opinion.
i have to agree, heidfeld on alonso... speed tv commentators (matchett) were yelling, "show ron dennis' face! now ron, is that an unracable strategy?" lol... classic stuff!
i think bob varsha commented that only 3 races this year allows tabaco sponsoring
Looks like that has to be the move of the race then.... everyone liked it!
(I'm guessing we don't have any Alonso fans here?)
Sending ...
