  • Paste from MS Word

    Hi mmclarke.

    Regarding the code issue from word docs - Tangler strips out html, which is why that is happening. One way to get around that would be to copy the text from Word, and paste it in Notepad, and then copy that and paste it in the forum.
    Another way would be to upload the docs to services like Docstoc or Scribd and embed that into Tangler.

    For what it's worth, this isn't a very big issue in my experience, though I have seen it happen in the past (on other boards)

  • Embed the entire forum?

    Hi discussthefuture.

    It is possible to embed a whole forum. It isn't part of our offering (ie we don't supply a standard code for it like we do with the topics) but it has been done here using iframes.

  • Tangler forum loading problem

    You aren't Kobayashi. It seems to be a Google Ads issue, and other sites are complaining of the same thing.

    A quick workaround is to install the Ad Block plugin and block the Google ads.

    Meanwhile, we're looking into it.

    Sure you can Adrian.

    Just click on the Create a Forum link in your screen name menu (direct link), which will take you to the creation page.
