I have a user who is pasting fairly lengthy discussions from a word document. When she posts to a topic there is a section of code that shows up at the beginning of her post. Looks like some sort of style data. She is now going back in and removing the code from each post but it is an annoying process. Any thoughts?
Also, when she edits the post it only allows her to edit once, then she is locked out from editing. Is this right?
Hi mmclarke.
Regarding the code issue from word docs - Tangler strips out html, which is why that is happening. One way to get around that would be to copy the text from Word, and paste it in Notepad, and then copy that and paste it in the forum.
Another way would be to upload the docs to services like Docstoc or Scribd and embed that into Tangler.
No one gets locked out of editing their posts, but there is a bug we're aware of that stops it from working.
When that happens, please refresh the page and then try again.
I am having another issue. I can't get the invitation emails to the intended recipients. I have been trying to resend the invitation but it does not reach the person. I have tried this many times on my own account and it does not work. Can you only send an invitation to a person once?
I'll need more detail about this Michael. Like what you're inviting them to and how.
Could you send me an e-mail with the details please? rai@tangler.com
Thanks!
