Alright, much like the Connecticut Compromise, it takes a brilliant back-and-forth to lay a foundation for a centuries-lasting success. I have heard what Ronny and the other no voters are saying, and trying to balance their wants, here is the new & improved “master plan” for making this league even more awesome than it already is.

Expansion 2.0

Three Divisions: Cluney, Donna Rose, Debbie Divisions

12 teams in each division, top 8 make the playoffs.

Regular Season consists of 11 divisional games . # of Interleague games will depend on NFL Schedule length. Playoffs are five weeks long.

Playoffs begin with seeds #9-24 playing head-to-head for the right to advance through the tourney. Seeds #1-8 will receive first round byes, however they are also entered in a one-week “bonus game” dubbed the Elite Eight Challenge. That week, since they play no head-to-head game, all 8 will compete against each other to earn the highest point total for that week. Winner gets an extra $50. All teams then matchup against the winners of Round 1 to complete the playoffs. This way, no one loses a regular season week by expanding the playoffs one week!

Each division winner receives $150

Regular Season Points Champion (or highest single-game scorer): $50

Elite Eight Challenge Champion: $50

4HF Runner-up: $300

4HF Champion: $800

I don't like the playoff byes. If this is what passes, I am game as always but I would prefer a 16 team playoff. It will add extra regular seasons games...thereby raising everyone's ROI. Or we can go with Ronnie's idea and have the Championship game wee 16 so that you don't lose in the final game because your players are being rested. Why do you need a bye other than just so you don't lose the first week of the playoffs? We play fantasy to play not sit out a week.

I am always cool with a 16 team playoff, but that means only five make it. Week 16 finale will never happen because players can be rested Week 16 as well (see Colts, last year or year before I can't remember).
