  Best Hotels in Paris

  I'm thinking of dropping into Paris for a couple of days later this year. Any tips on great, mid range hotels in a nice area close to a metro?

  Testez votre français - Test your French speaking

  I did 3 years of French part time and felt like a dufus but once I went there it just comes out.

  I think that 1 week in the country speaking the langage is worth about 1 year of study.

  Funnily enough, one of my favourite sayings right now is ou est le but I pronounce it like an Aussie - Oooh,ayy-lay

  Places you have visited in France

  I worked in Paris for a month twice in 2003. Was great to have some locals to show me around.

  Otherwise I've only ever had a night in an old Chateau in Rouen once with a girlfriend I dumped three weeks later. The best part was driving through the narrow lanes and picking home made cheese off the wheely tray.
