AeroPress Coffee Maker
And for your AeroPress:
HAHAHAHAHA Love it!!
The description is so funny!
That looks like a whole lotta mess for a cup of coffee.
Here is my process;
1. Go to cafe.
2. Buy coffee
3. Drink it.
Actually, from everything I've read, it compresses the grounds into a puck, which you can just toss in the trash
Plus, it's cheaper
Okay I will admit I have the Keurig - because I guess I am now a lazy addict! LOL Actually having children and a young one at that with a pot of coffee I could never have a great cup of coffee because it sit for awhile in the pot. I tried all kinds of things and then Tom purchased this machine for me and I actually love it - coffee that is hot and perfect everytime.
Cool! So you recommend it?
1000000% Yes! They now have a pod that you can fill with your favorite coffee if they don't sell it so it is still very $$$ friendly - even with purchasing the pods from the company only pennies more a cup.
ummm.... yeah...
What about being ultra lazy, not using the machine, and dunking the pod into a cuppa hot water....like making tea?
You gotta use their coffee. Is there an open source version available?
Those pod things are fairly widely available nowadays
Erik for this particular machine they have come out with a "basket" filter that you can use your own coffee in. I don't know much about other models. The Keurig though is not so much a pod as a containter as you can tell in the picture. I have been using the basket that I fill myself and prefer the premade ones - because I have become the ultimate in lazy coffee making! LOL
The trend of putting weird stuff into unrelated products has extended outside of fruit, pearls, silk and random vitamins/minerals being put into shampoo and other hygeine stuff - the idea that caffeine in you soap will help you wake up is pretty ridiculous, unless theres some mechanism by which what goes on your skin can be absorbed into your blood stream and get to the brain, which frankly makes no sense at all.
Reminds me of some toilet roll I saw that had vitamin E in it - your asshole can't absorb vitamins so what the hell's the point other than being able to put "with Vitamin E" on the packaging and charging a little more for it
And they say quacks are a thing of the past
OMG Amy!!
Would nver have picked you to be the lazy kind -- Gosh!!! What would that say about me.
*Worries while slouching on the couch and watcing tele and not getting any work done*
OMG, i love my keurig. But those damn k-cups are expensive. oh well
Quakersquares - you can get the filter so you can use your own ground coffee now - personally I prefer the k-cups, but I do own the self doing filter.
I work hard for my coffee....
I walk to the coffee shop
That is hard work - you have to carry it back too and drink it......![]()
I actually got one of those aeropress coffee things recently. It makes some pretty good brew, but you have to be careful and not put too much water in it and to stir the hot water in long enough, or you'll get undrinkably bitter coffee. It also seems to amplify the difference between good coffee and okay/cheap coffe... or maye that's just my head.
Regardless, it's good for dorm use because there's no room for a 'honkin pod presser.
I have an aeropress too and love it. It's great for when you don't have a good coffee shop to walk to nearby
I just realised I got 2 free coffees today!
Woo hoo!!!
hmm...for us super lazy lovers, just go to nescafe...
Okay, now this is just crazy...
Official Lamborghini Coffee Maker

Strictly limited to 1000 units, the Lamborghini Primo Cappuccino Coffee Maker is manufactured from stainless steel and, naturally, carries the Lamborghini bull logo and, it has to be said, just like Lamborghini cars, it’s so totally overstated that we suspect its reserved for those who feel that they are genuinely defined by material items alone (sorry, but we are not big fans of Lamborghini as we find their style to be rather crude).
Costs abt US$1750.... wonder if it makes the coffee taste any better![]()
Add me PLUS ONE for the Aeropress. Dead simple to use and to clean, 365 filters are 3bones and it makes the best tasting cup that I have tasted and I used to work at a gourmet coffee co.
It is simply awesome for camping etc. and makes up to 4 cups equiv. but it is true, you can't use crap coffee because the good stuff tastes sooo good.
I don't work for the company BTW. ![]()
Camping?! You take it along with you?

Oh wait, I was looking at the wrong one![]()
In which case, that's a great idea!
